Who's the first person you told about the proposal?

We were in the car when we decided we were gonna do this! My boys(previous marriage) and parents were in a diffrrent vehicle, so when we got home we announced it to them. Then to his family. Then on social media. Half our media doesnt know about when or where or whether they're invited (they're not. Just our closest friends and our family)

So, I posted it on Facebook, however our friends were technically the first to know because we were playing a D&D campaign when my fiancé proposed during it.

I did not post a ring pic on social media for like 2 weeks because I wanted the chance to tell those closest to me! My best friend was there when I got engaged, which was awesome. I immediately called my mom, then my sisters, then my sister-in-law and slowly told friends.

My husband and I were at the University we attended, and where we met, for Homecoming weekend, Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA. My best friend and another friend were there with us as well. We had gone to the football game and were walking through campus afterwards. I had mentioned that I wanted to take photos when we were on our way to the game once it was over (there were lots of beautiful flowers in bloom). After the game, we were walking through campus and my husband made a comment that we should take a photo because I had mentioned it earlier. I had a feeling he might propose on campus at some point prior to the start of the weekend, then I talked myself out of it and was convinced it wouldn't happen. m where we were and she was on the phone with someone. I heard her say, "OMG i just saw someone get engaged!" Haha she was so excited, it was cute. We did a bar crawl later that evening as one of the Homecoming events and it was so exciting to show everyone my ring and be engaged! After we actually got engaged we went to a friends parent's house who lived in the area, it was on the way there that I made my phone calls to my family. So exciting!

My sister..... my sister who is also my Matron Of Honor. Now... my best friend then I posted the picture on Facebook for the rest of the family..

My dad was there for the proposal and I called my mom immediately after.

I forget! I think I called my dad.

He proposed on his mom's birthday so she was the first to no and my kids because they were there

I don't remember who the first person i told was. Probably my mom.

Everyone LOL I was the last to know. After dinner he brought me back home were our families and friends were waiting and surprised me with the engagement in front of everyone

FH told his family he was going to propose on the day, but the first person I told was my mom and my sister!

My step-mom was the first person I called, then my sister, then my dad, followed by a hundred more calls and messages.

My dad is the first person we told. Then my mom. Then Facebook and Snapchat. Then his brother and mom. Then his grandparents and aunts and uncles. Not all of my family knows yet but I’ve been bringing it up a little more

My fiancé proposed on top of the space needle and on the ferry ride back I face timed my dad and then immediately posted our Facebook announcement 🥰
