Who's the first person you told about the proposal?

I first called my mom and dad, then his parents and then my two best friends (same time) who were my MOHs.

Pretty sure it was my mom and grandma on the same phone call (we are in TX, they are in MI). First and only in person notification was FH's brother, sister-in-law & niece when we got home.

My father was the first person we told

Both of our immediate families were around along with some of my aunts, uncles, and cousins (it happened at Easter) so they were the first ones to know. The first person I texted after that was my Matron of Honor! We FaceTimed later that day so she could see the ring and talk about the proposal.

My son was the first person we told then parents and my aunt. The rest of the family found out at Christmas time.

We were actually on a vacation with his sister and her boyfriend, and his best friend and his girlfriend, which they all knew it was happening and watched it happen. My parents were the first ones we called though.

My first cousin whom is like my sister

My FH proposed while we were on vacation with my family. When we got back into the state's I told my aunt's & uncle's first.

I tried to tell my parents first but neither one of them answered their phones so we ended up telling our friends we were on vacation with first. Then I told my sister since my parents STILL didn't return my call.

I told my best friend first. And then I posted on Facebook.

His mom when we got home being she was there visiting for a week. But she knew cause she was the one holding the ring for him till he was ready and then I am ashamed to say Facebook was next...lol my guy proposed at 11 PM after a Christmas theater show we went to on a Monday night. Anyone I would have called (mom or dad) were asleep.

I told all of my closest friends & family first! I also posted on Instagram, but not until I had told all my immediate friends & family first✨

I first told my mom. My FH proposed at a private spot in our old town (about 15 minutes) so no one (except his parents and my brother; they hid the ring) knew.

My Matron of Honor Angelia was the first to know about my proposal.

I think I called my mom first, but I sent a mass text with my family and 4 best friends on it with pictures like 20 minutes after.

FHs dad and stepmom were there for the proposal, so they knew first. That was immediately followed by a text to my best friend, a call to my parents, and a call to my sister. I guess he called his mom too somewhere in there!

My family was already present and in on the night's activities, so it was my work friend who I dragged with me to get nails done earlier that week (just in case!)

FH proposed at my dad's side of the family's Christmas Eve so my sister, 3 aunts and 2 uncles and cousins were there, but I called my mom right away and then face timed my other sister who lives in another state.

His mom nephew and some of our friends were there when he joked about us getting married, then later that night he proposed so I guess they knew 1st.
