We talked about marriage a lot, but he asked!

My husband asked! He didn't have a long speech, just opened the ring box and asked!

FH asked, but it was less "will you marry me?" More "I was just thinking about this (the future). I have the ring, What are we waiting for?"

I tried proposing to him since he was taking so damn long! He said no, that he wanted to do it. So I waited.... lol

FH asked me a year ago yesterday!

Fh asked me, knocked me off my feet, he was the "I am never getting married" guy.

FH asked me. But only after taking me ring shopping then acting like I was pressuring him. I was LIVID. Told him never to take me ring shopping again (we’d gone about six months prior but I knew he wasn’t ready). He finally broke down and showed me the paperwork for the ring that was out getting sized. He lasted four days with the secret, lol. It made the proposal completely not a surprise but it was still sweet, thoughtful and heartfelt.

My FH did. We talked about getting married a lot leading up to the engagement
