Who has a bigger family? You or your fiancé(e)?

He will have more! We both have huge families but mine is more straight forward so we were able to cut it off in a fair way, his is way more complicated!

He does. It is an Irish family, there are SO many of them. It was a lot when we started dating. But they are wonderful people that I am very thankful to have.

I had a small family and over the years I have gone no contact with them.

I have a bigger family, both immediate and extended! But He will have more extended family at the wedding, as he is much closer to his family than I am to mine.

I definitely do! Extended is about the same, but mine's bigger from immediate family as he's an only child. It's pretty equal on extended family that will be joining us on our day!

Oh my lord it's me, 100% no question lol. Dad is the middle child of 9 kids. Most of his brothers and sisters are grandparents, with all but one having kids of their own. I have something like 30 cousins on one side. Mom's side of the family is fairly small - no cousins there and she has two sisters. His family is on the small side. At least his immediate family and any extended family he knows well. His family spread out across the US, whereas mine stayed localized to Chicago.

At first I was torn between the two because FH has a ton of family, but at the wedding it will most definitely be me having more. Immediate family we are about the same, but extended I have both adopted and biological family I get to invite so.. I feel special

We both have the tiniest families. We will have about 100 guests and only 10 of those will be family: 3 for him and 7 for me!

Hmmm well he has more siblings. 2 with the same mom and who knows how many with his dad since his dad took off. He knows of several but has never met most of them. I have met way more of my family than he has met of his but I don't think we'll ever know whose is bigger. We actually did the ancestry dna thing a few weeks ago so it will be interesting to see if either of us finds out about more relatives

He does! I’m not close with many of my family outside of the immediate group. There’s no bad blood. I just wasn’t raised around them. I’m getting better with time but his big family can be a bit intimidating especially as an introvert!

Depends on how you look at it. He has a bigger extended family. My immediate family is slightly bigger because he is an only child and I have one sister.

Our immediate families are the same size but he has more extended family than I do!

Fh. I have my mom, my 2 kids, my 2 cousins, my best friend and her mom, and my two close friends and their families.

Fh has his two kids, mom and dad, grandma, aunt, sister, brother in law, nephew, his three cousins and their families and his best friend and his wife. His aunt and uncle too.

Our total count is 46. Very small. Family and close friends

H has a much bigger family.

Immediate family, he has 3 sisters while I’m an only child. Extended family, most definitely me. My dad is one of 13 kids and my mom is one of 6. Tons of cousins. I am close to most of my family though, while his extended family is much smaller, he’s not very close to any of them.

I have the bigger family my mom is 1 of 7. Dad is 1 of 15 and I’m 1 of 8. His mom is 1 of 9 and Dad is 1 of 3. He’s 1 of 4. This doesn’t include the cousins which I still have more than him.

I do. My mom's side of the family is massive. He has a lot of aunts and uncles but quite a few of his parent's siblings didn't have kids so as soon as cousins come into the mix my family takes the lead.
