I have decent penmanship and I enjoy writing. I found these diy acrylic escort cards and it's about the same price as ordering traditional escort cards from Minted. They would match some of our signage we're having at the reception. Our colors are gray/silver and white, so I would use those colors for the names and paint. Or should I just skip this all in all and just order folded escort cards? Which do you like best? Wedding is formal/elegant theme.

The first ones are really cute! But what’s the expectation for after? Are guests to take them home? Venue to dispose? I just worry about them potentially being a waste of time and money.

Well I’m not expecting them to keep them, it’s great if they do and if they don’t I don’t care if they get disposed honestly. It’s more for me adding my personal touch to our wedding and to be different from a traditional escort card.

I have seen both and I think they will both fill the elegant touch you are wanting. The acrylic are super trendy right now (absolutely love) and with a white lettering and silvery brushed color they would be truly unique to you! The cards are a classy elegant as well!
I do a lot of wood work as a hobby - so I am making all of our wood welcome signs as a personal touch.
