Which came first? Photographer or DJ?

DJ! We actually already knew who our DJ was going to be. (Thanks to both of my cousins who got married). We just knew we HAD to go with him!

Technically, my DJ was first, cause they come with my venue. My venue includes my DJ, flowers, food, décor, set up and clean up, and day of coordination.

We booked our photographer first! That was my biggest priority and the thing I was willing to spend the most on. It was my #1 thing, so I wanted to get it take care of immediately.

Officially we booked our photographer first. But we were already planning on a really good friend of ours to DJ for us and we just booked him officially a couple weeks ago.

Photographer. Our venue has one preferred DJ so we didn’t even bother looking for another. I was picky on who I wanted to be our photographer!

Photographer was selected first. We had free engagement photos when we booked the photographer for the wedding.

We picked the photographer first. I think that pictures last forever, so that was most important to me apart from the venue. I am a graphic designer so I work with photography a lot. This made me more picky but I hope it helped me pick a great photgrapher.

In this case I was looking at both, but I booked the DJ first and then started sorting the photographer.

Our photographer was the first 3rd party vendor we booked. I knew we would be hiring a dj but that was a little lower on my list of priorities.
