If you're not careful, food and flowers can eat up your entire wedding budget!! 💸 Which "budget buster" did you tackle first? Is food already covered by your venue, leaving you time to focus on your florals? 💐 Or are you more concerned with the menu than the mood and decor? 🍽️

Which came first for you? (Or which will you tackle first?) Booking your caterer or your florist?

Food was first because the venue includes it.

Photographer was first for us only because it was supplied by our venue. As far as a florist we will be creating simple flower centerpieces so we diyed Costco flowers!

Our caterer is actually included with the venue do that was definitely booked first. We selected our menu a couple months ago and have our tasting next month! And then we actually ordered sola wood flower bouquets/boutonnières/corsages online last weekend and we’re making all of the flowers for the decorations.

Food. I went for more of an all inclusive venue so the food, cake, and linens are all apart of the package.

Food. Our venue provided us with a specific list of caterers that we could chose from, so our options were very narrowed down.

Food! We are booked at a mostly all inclusive location so floral was one of the vendors we had to bring in.

Florist! I am an odd one. We have attempted to reach caterers but we have not heard back from any just yet.

We were in communication with a florist and we really liked her style so we decided to move forward and book her.

We are still rather far away from our wedding so I am sure that the caterer will be next!

Ha! Guess I'm an odd duck. We did flowers first. We are doing pizza for food so not much needed there.

Haven't gotten into the nitty gritty of either yet. My friend and her husband have offered to do our flowers, she & I brainstormed a little already, and I know what I'm doing about food, I just haven't reached out to my people yet.

Food is most important. I already have an idea what kind of florals I want but food is something major that guests will remember as being good or bad.

Food. Because our venue already provides the food, for us. My florist was easy, it's my co-workers mom.

Food! It's such a huge part of the reception so we definitely planned that our first.

Food is top priority. Flowers are important too but lower on the totem pole. Food is what guests remember.
