Which came first for you? (Or which will you tackle first?) Booking your caterer or your florist?

Food is through the venue, but we haven't set our final menu yet. Flowers were booked pretty early on.

Food. We were required to choose from a list of caterers that our venue provided, so it narrowed it down quite a bit for us.

Florist - I knew I was going to do my own flowers, but it took awhile before we decided on the food

The food is included in our venue and I went with sola wood flowers because of my allergies and spent less than $250 on all of the flowers. I guess we technically did food first, but flowers were kind of irrelevant when it came to the budget 😉

It'll be food, we're not doing flowers as they're expensive and not allowed in the park anyway.

We booked our caterer first. We had to use the required caterer for our venue, so it was fairly easy. It was nice getting our tasting done and pricing locked in early.

Food! He has 7 siblings and I have 3. With all the extended family and friends, we'll have a small army to feed.

Both, 'cause they come with my venue. My venue includes my DJ, flowers, food, décor, set up and clean up, and day of coordination.

Food. We're doing our own flowers. Using fake ones b/c my FH has terrible allergies!

This was a toss up for us... my venue prepared the food, but we wanted to make sure it was good, so we splurged a little more for better choices and extra hors d'oeuvres. But, I was very particular about what flowers I wanted and I knew I wanted centerpieces that were over the top!!!

I already got all our flowers. We're doing wooden ones and then we'll put everything together closer to the date. We've put a few together already and I'm looking forward to seeing them all! With the food our families will actually be preparing most of it a week or so in advanced and then our venue provides a few people to help with heating and preparing all the food.
