Where did you meet your future spouse?

Sterling, VA. My first day of classes at our local community college!

We met freshman year in high school in biology!

Columbus, Ohio at THE Ohio State University lol We both took part in a scholarship program that brought us up to campus the summer after our junior year of high school. We didn't talk then at all and then (re)connected close to the end of freshman year once we were both admitted students

View Quoted Comment I did. We met for our first date at Henry vilas zoo in Madison Wisconsin. Spent an hour looking at the animals, and another 4 sitting and talking about everything under the sun. We were both surprised by how the time flew by.

I met my husband at a place called Club Rodeo. Kind of like a glorified "country" club/bar. I always love going back there to go out dancing or watch their version of bull riding whenever I have an itch to watch it but husband isn't too fond of it anymore because of all the rap/hip hop music they end up playing later on in the night when it's more younger people there.

I was talking to his friend on what was essentially a dating site for middle and high school kids! We were young teenagers at the time and he took my phone number from his friend and started prank calling me... And then never stopped. That was January 2012, we met in person June, got together that September and here we are six years later!

My FH and I met through a family friend through church

My fiance and I met on Tumblr, actually. It's crazy random happenstance that I saw something they had posted and responded, and we became best friends after discussing our mutual love of Harry Potter! 😄

Met when he came into where I was working an a friend gave him my nimber

We met through mutual friends when we were both on vacation in Pismo Beach, CA. We really clicked, talked all night, but I didn't think I would see him again. He lived 2 hours away from me. I had been to his town for work for several years and never seen him before, so I really didn't think we would run in to each other again. I was just getting out of a marriage and was not really looking to settle down.

About 3 weeks later, I was in his town and ran in to him. We have been together ever since. Like velcro. You hear people talk about this kind of thing and you never really know what it feels like...until you KNOW. He told our mutual friend that I was the one on that weekend

We met at a Memorial Day cookout at a mutual friends house. He wasn't supposed to be there but his car wasn't working at the time and he was kind of stuck. Fate intervened and 2 1/2 years later, here we are.

I met FH in my mom's kitchen! (He is my brother's friend) My brother introduced him to my mom as this super embarrassing nickname, and my mom introduced him to me as "have you met EMBARRASSING NICKNAME!" ... Fast forward like 7 years, and I ran into him at a bar and screamed "EMBARRASSING NICKNAME!" and he was excited to see me, and happy someone he knew was there and embraced his nickname from a different crowd! Honestly, I attribute that moment to our success! 12 Years after meeting him here we are almost 5 years into a relationship!

My first year of grad school I was working the same job as my FH had when he was in his masters. He came in to say hi to our office mom, and I just happen to be sitting next to her. He seemed like a really interesting man, sooo I interrupted their conversation and said hi! LOL. He came back every Tuesday to chat and the rest is history ❤️
