Where did you buy your ring?

Fiancé bought it at Jared.

I got mine from Etsy and am very satisfied with it. I picked a shop with great reviews, and it looked exactly as pictured when it arrived.

We went with a local jeweler. I've heard not-so-great things here about mall chains. Both our bands combined were under $1000.

I got mine on Etsy. It was about $300 and is white gold with tiny diamonds. I love it! Not sure where H got his ring. He just went to the mall. HaHa!

My family has always worked with a jeweler so we lucked out. But, the best thing about going through him, who works on jewelers row down in Philly, was that you bypass the thousands of dollars upcharge that happens when you go to a retail store. It's worth seeing if there's a diamond district or other jeweler's district near you (or in a big city near you.) My Fiancé was able to pick out the exact diamond and that was put into a custom setting. It saved him a TON of money actually and my ring is specific to me.

We haven't gotten ours yet, but we'll be going back to the local jeweler who my fiance worked with to design my engagement ring.

Mine is from Charles and Colvard (I wanted moissanite to match my e-ring and prefer it to diamond). DH's is from a brand called King Will on Amazon, he has a tungsten carbide band and we were very impressed with the quality (especially for the price!)

Brilliant Earth. It's an online retailer, and I'm so happy that's what we went with. I wanted something completely custom, the customer service was amazing, and the quality is great.

My e-ring and both our bands are from Blue Nile.

My fiance actually bought my e-ring from Overstock.com, we bought our bands from our local Marks & Morgan.

FH is a researcher. He won't purchase anything without extensively checking the company's reviews and whatnot. He bought my ring (and I will be buying his) from Mavilo Wholesalers in South Tampa. They are seriously AMAZING. The people there are truly so kind and knowledgeable. As you can see, they have 500 reviews and a perfect 5.0 rating. If you decide to check it out, ask for Danielle. She has been such an angel to us!

GO to Rare carat! My fiancé bought my 1.5 carat engagement ring there for $4,200. Its appraised at over $9,000. It’s a VS1 clarity and J in color- so way better quality then you’d get in a mall. We went to a local pawn shop and bought the band today actually! You will save tons buying online verses in retail. They mark their jewelry up significantly.

I got mine online because it's cheaper and its harder to be scammed by a salesperson. I would not go to Kay. I've had rings that cracked down the middle after a couple of years!

We went to diamonds direct. FH was able to pick out the diamond he wanted and then pick/customize the setting for it. We went back there for our bands too because he had a great experience.

Btw: when looking at his band they told us that while they sell tungsten they don't even keep it out because in an emergency it can't be easily cut off, so it can be a safety Hazzard. We decided against it then because I don't want him to lose and fingers if he hurts himself.

We both went to separate, privately owned jewelry stores. I went to one I'd worked with before, and he found one near his work.

We bought all our rings at Adiamor, an online retailer. FH was so happy wBirthday th their customer service no my e-ring, we ordered our bands from there
