Yes, I agree that there are numerous problems to deal with, such as the wedding venue being unavailable. Your designer gown, as well as your make-up, is unavailable. But if you start planning now, you can have it all.
I already have my venue booked for my May 2022 wedding. Still looking at photographers, videographers and catering. Just want to get the big stuff out the way so not stressing later on.
It’s never to early to plan my wedding is in may of 2022 and we’ve planned everything so far and has payed for everything so far. Everything In our wedding will be all pay for my December of this year even the honeymoon so it’s smarter to get everything done early or less headaches and less u have to worry about when next year roll around
In my eyes it's never too early to start planning, cause then you know exactly what you want by the time the date comes closer and you have all your vendors booked and ready by the wedding.
Never to early ,getting venue and catering picked early is a good thing believe it or not a year goes by so fast and before you know It you’ll notice you haven’t did anything and now your working on crunch time and that’s when stress comes about ,planning weddings should be exciting and happy not stressful and ready to get it over with

Mine is May 21, 2022 and I have all the big stuff planned (venue, catering, DJ, florist, photographer, pastor, hair and makeup) except my dress! We got engaged last July, but I knew that there would be a lot of people planning for 2021 and 2022 since we figured we'd be coming out of restrictions. With only a year out, it's definitely a good time to jump on the planning wagon and at least get the big stuff out of the way. You'll feel relieved and will get to enjoy planning the fun, small details!
Same day as mine! My fiancé is a terrible procrastinator so I know that the more things I can get done early, the better, and less stressed we'll be when it gets closer. We've booked our venue and are getting our guest list together. And yes, I already have my dress.
I began planning as soon as I got engaged. I don’t feel like it’s too early especially following COVID. A lot of brides have been booking for 2022. Several venues were already booked for my date and I started looking for venues back in February. Plus I’m a planner and hate being held to an actual schedule. I prefer to have a heads up before hand.
The sooner the better! I have been planning for one year because I am indecisive so it takes longer for me to make up my mind. So far I have the venue confirmed, color theme set and the wedding planner booked. Everything else should be easier from now until May 2022 for us.
Oh right now mine is in june 12 2022 so I started in February but somethings I had to get together 1 get over the initial shock of it all lol. So then in march I went to my bridal shop tried on dresses. And then found that one and so after that it was colors announcing it to family and friends. Now looking for a venue space now that I have one need to lock it down with signatures and start paying on it. My event planner came at no cost get certain items that I want and had to change. There's more to do tho. But happy planning
So I don’t think it is too early May is really a big month for weddings so hotel blocks get booked fast. We already had to ask a few different bartenders bc they were already booked. A year is the perfect time to start it all
Yes I have certain centerpieces guestbook cake topper certain favors like bubbles and something that I found for when we kiss. Numbers for the tables and place cards, cake cutter have a few more things that needs to be done. But yes never never to late
Never too early! im 2 1/2 years out (Oct 2023) and im already messaging vendors and venues, looking at decorations! if you do it further in advance I feel like its less stressful because you don't feel like your cramming everything in!
Getting married May 2022! Just got engaged a little over a month ago, and have since booked a venue, had a consult with a florist (photographer is next), and am dress shopping Saturday! It’s al very exciting, but with COVID and the couples who had to cancel last year, dates are filling up fast! The sooner the better!
Dedicated

Definitely not too early! I’m planning for May 27, 2022. It gives time to budget with payment plans and leaves you various options for getting all your favorite vendors together instead of rushing to find vendors that may not be your favorite but still have your date available.
My wedding is the same date! I've booked the venue, dj, officiant, flowers, photo, and video. I'm working on catering and cake stuff (we're probably going to do cheesecake instead of cake since my fiancé doesn't like cake)
ASAP, girl! Time flies when it comes to the preparations of your wedding. You need to book your vendors with plenty of time because you want to make sure that they are available for your date. Have you looked into venues? photography? dresses? catering? etc?
