I don’t think it’s too early to start planning. I already booked my venue, photographer, Dj and cake baker . I rather start early so that I can have the vendors I really want especially with a lot wedding from earlier 2019/20 being pushed back . Plus I have time to make any payment arrangements I need without feeling too overwhelmed
Not too soon. I recommend just starting. My wedding is May 2022 and I definitely rushed on the venue since that secured the date. Now I am slowly but steadily moving on. Have my Month of Coordinator and photographer done. Working on catering and videography over these 2 months and so on. Goal is to have everything including the smallest details done about 6 months before. This gives me time to enjoy the planning without rushing into anything.
It's definitely not too early. Our Wedding is May 4th 2022 and we have the venue and all our vendors already booked. Will be looking to try on dresses in the next couple of months Time just seems to fly by so I feel better knowing the most important things are already taken care of - although I still worry I am going to forget something!
I have had ideas for a long time about my wedding and we are having it at a family venue so I am quite prepared. Trying to keep low budget as well. I need the time to make the final touches but that’s all 🥰
My daughters wedding is the same *5/7/22 . We have the venue, photographer, Dj and DOC booked. Especially with this weekend being mothers day florist will be busy, I'm working on that now
I got engaged in July 2020. Our wedding is May 14, 2022. I’ve been slowly planning this whole time and it’s been nice. I haven’t felt super stressed or rushed about anything. I’d say go ahead and start planning!
It definitely isnt to early.. My wedding is May 26 2022 and we have our venue DJ/ lights entertaiment/ photographer/videographer and floral and my dress and our rings. it definitely worth to start sooner.. I started planning July 2020.
Ours is May 10 and the whole wedding is BOOKED with a destination “save the date” sent out. Now we just wait . It takes out the stress when you plan ahead!
I think it depends on where you’re planning the wedding. We are getting married in NYC (where we live). So we’ve already booked our venue, planner, band, florist and photographer. We found that a lot of vendors are already booked over a year out because covid moved so many weddings back. Many of our first choice vendors were completely booked for our may 2022 wedding.
Mine is mostly planned! I started putting fillers out on different vendors and they were all booked on my date so I got my venue, photographer, and i’m working on my dress now. It takes pressure off of me and my family by slowly getting things done!
Mine has been all planned from top to bottom for my wedding next May. Granted it was supposed to be in May 2020 so 2 years extra has been a lot of waiting time. Glad I didn’t wait to be married and just pushed off the party. Now I don’t have to worry about a ceremony.
It’s definitely not too early, especially since many weddings from 2020 and 2021 are being rescheduled. Many venues and caterers are already booked up, so the sooner the better. I’m so glad I have this much time to plan everything. I do not want anything about my wedding to be stressful so planning ahead of time has been really great. I have my caterer, menu and venue picked out. I have the luxury of slowly researching other things like photographers and DJs
