Booking my venue was okay. Lots of places have increased venue prices or not booking weddings yet. So it took a bit to find a venue. Im located in Alaska.
I got engaged 9/19/2018 and my wedding was not until 9/19/2020 (until COVID made me move it ) i've been planning since the engagement. i had my venue booking 2years in advanced. Never too early

I started planning 3 years in advance bc it was a stress reliever. It's never to early, it's a big day and you should be allowed to put as much effort into it as you want, regardless of time frame.
My wedding is the last weekend of October 2023 and I’ve already got venue booked, asking my wedding party to actually be my wedding party this October....never too early.

I only started to look for venues but that's it. I tend to wait closer to the date to start doing everything. Don't know why I'm like that
You should definitely start planning with it being a year out. Mine is October 8, 2022 and I’ve been planning like crazy. I did run into a few vendors who told me I have to wait until the wedding gets closer. But venues are filling up fast with all the people who had to postpone their weddings due to COVID so I would tackle a venue first. Technically second after working on the guest list because you need to have a general idea of about how many guests you expect in order to pick a venue to accommodate everyone.
Our date is 5/19/22 and we have been planning pretty quickly. Because of COVID, a lot of vendors and venues are booking up quickly. I wouldn't wait too long or you risk missing out on your first choices!
Oh no, girl!! Don't leave those things to the last minute. A lot of unnecessary stress will come your way. Start with your venue, then your dress/his tux, then photographer, then catering, etc. Planning a wedding takes time, patience, and money. Start early
Originally my wedding was 10/1/2021. Last Oct in about a week's time I had everything done: photographer, make up artists, florist, hair dresser, bridesmaids already chosen, save the dates ordered, and officiant. I did that because of all the weddings that would've been moved due to covid and I'm glad I did. Honestly, sooner the better.
Good to know that you have booked your venue, wedding planner and set your theme. But you are missing the most important thing. It your wedding dress. It should we according to your theme.
Now you need to focus on your dress, jewelry, or photographer. Good Luck!
It's never too early my wedding is May 21,2022 and I started planning in February of this year. This way I can pay everything off and not be stressed out about everything.
There is no such thing as too early planning. It's preparing and think wisely. If you think of time, of course you will think it's a lot time BUT when you start thinking of money. It's not lot time. You have to do research, do homework on specific thing you want in wedding before say yes this or that for your wedding, also there is marriage goal as well as such do you have a job, do you have a house or apartment, how does your financial (his & her) do well or bad?? What is your goal? Weak & strength?? You have to think about all that plus the wedding. Small or big or between wedding. Wedding dresses always come and go for seasonal, event venue have book for save day, And so much more. I rather dealing stress now than later on or at very last minute. On my wedding, I rather focus on my love and me, not the problem or issue or whatever is it. So no, it's not too early do something for your wedding.
