When do you do the grand entrance?

D&D2016, on October 13, 2016 at 1:07 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 11

Do you typically do the grand march/entrance (when you are introduced as Mr & Mrs for the first time) right before dinner is served? Is this when the bridal party is introduced and an upbeat song is played? Or does it wait for the dance? So confused!

Grand March is prom, not wedding.

Although your statement of "Grand March" is incorrect. Your answer to your question is, your bridal party comes in first with a song or with out a song as long as the DJ or whom ever you have to introduce them by name. Then you and your husband will come last with a different song as Mr. and Mrs. ___. It is done before dinner is served. Smiley smile

I didn't- we just came down stairs and did pictures and had drinks with people.

I'll take "'things I think are over rated' for 500 Alex"

Dear lord people. Allow me to correct myself, although I'm sure every single one of you knew what I meant: Grand entrance.

    Carry on.

Grand March is definitely wedding! Started in Poland way back before there was even such a thing as a prom.

I'm stuck in the same boat - I have no idea when it should happen.

I don't have any words of wisdom, I just wanted to share that I was also calling it a grand march. And I can't believe so many women had a stick up their butt about someone mistakenly calling it that when they all knew what you meant anyways. 🙄
I get what you're saying! No need to be rude about it!
