I frankly don't want my hubbie under my gown in front of our family and friends fetching for my garter with his mouth. Like Whoa! !

My advice is to start by changing your avatar!

We will be doing it for sure. What we wont be doing is having the guy put it on the girl that catches the bouquet I dont like that aspect of it at all.

I find it gross. Wanted to skip both but FH thinks without a bouquet toss Itll just be a "party" and not a "wedding".

And no I dont know what that means either lol but itll make him happy.

We opted out on this all together. We would rather spend time dancing and having a good time rather than being embarrassed or uncomfortable on our day. It's just not for us.

We're not doing it. FH caught the garter at a wedding when he was a boy and had to put the garter on his cousin. We don't want to put other people through that. Still on the fence about the bouquet toss. We're not going to very many single people there. I'm thinking about doing an anniversary dance and giving the bouquet to the couple who has been married the longest. My cousin wants me to do one so that he knows who the single girls are ;P and my MOH wants to do it. I just need to check with the handful of single guests and see how they feel about it.

Am not a fan of petticoat diving either..... We are going to take a "detour" on route to the reception where he'll do his "fishing." ;-) We'll give the garter to the BM or MOH when we get there and they'll keep it until we are ready to throw it. We'll be placing it on a Football that will be dated and autographed by FH and I. :-D

I will be wearing the second garter as well, so double fun for FH later in our room.

Not my jam. I find it pretty gross. We're skipping both the garter and the bouquet toss.

We're, most likely, going to do it. I honestly don't think I've ever been to a wedding without a garter toss.

I think is fun to watch, everyone does it differently... You don't have to do it distasteful. We are doing it... He's not using his mouth and we are not having the other person put the garter on another person. My FH is tossing it with a football. It's all in how YOU approach it. But as a guest it's the most fun part to watch during the reception.

No garter toss for us. I personally feel it's very outdated and it's just awkward for guests.
