We actually met years ago while we were working for Wal-Mart. He was this dorky kid with glasses and big ears, and kind of cute. His girlfriend at the time and I were friends, so he and I kind of became friends as well. Well time went on and we had lost touch for a while, he went into the military and got married; I went through a heartbreaking divorce, and a horribly abusive relationship. I was in the middle of my second divorce when we seen each other again at Wal-Mart. It had come full circle! He and I were instant friends, we talked all day and all night that first night. We have been inseparable since.
We meet thru a mutual friend, my fiancée lend his car to my friends husband who was getting his drivers license and he asked if he knew any single girls and my friends husband mentioned me! He first sent me a friend request and I denied it cuz I had no clue who it was, my friends husband insisted he was a good guy, I finally accepted the request and then my friend set us up to meet by asking him to bring him home from work and I would be hanging out with his wife (my best friend) who was in on this. I was so nervous and wanted to bail but so glad I didn’t!! That night my friends husband awkwardly goes “so what do u guys think of each other” we laugh about it now but talk about putting u on the spot! Also my fiancée mentioned I must be a good friend to our mutual friend cuz he said if he were to break my heart he would be mad, and we laugh about this too! I am so thankful for my friends!
We met at his Grandmas on a Easter Sunday.. Now I always had easter dinner at his grandmas but this yr he came & im like who is that.... We exchanged numbers thru his cuzzin & the nxt day I saw him look at god hehe.. We started talking from there & mind you we both were in a relationship but both went sour.. We stayed friends for 6months be4 we became a couple & we have our good times & our bad times...
We met at BCM, a college campus ministry we both attended. I had been going there for a couple years and he had just transferred from another school. He came to one of our events for the free food, and I actually worked up the courage to introduce myself to him. The funny part was when I saw him, I turned to one of my best friends (now a bridesmaid) and "called dibs" as part of a running joke we had. And now we're engaged!
We actually dated way before either one of us actually knew what dated meant, we kept in touch over the years and somehow last February we reconnected and have been together ever since!

Similar story! I didn’t throw a controller at his head but I did promise to watch him after a concussion (I’m a nurse) and I fell asleep. Thankfully no damage done and 14 years later We are planning our wedding! Timing is everything!

My fiance and I met when we were in middle school, we became friends but we always felt like there was a connection between us beforehand. We didn't start dating until I was 16 years old and now 8 1/2 years later we are engaged and very much happy with one another.
First day of college (for me) and we were in the same English class. Got partnered up for one of those "get to know you " games they always do on the first day. Ended up sitting next to each other every day and eventually went out on our first "date" (he brought his roommate when I thought it was going to just be the two of us 😂) then eventually we made it official. That was 8 years ago. We get married in May
We met in college! Best friends from freshman year (so 2010). We were dating other people but had this immediate connection. We had feelings but never embraced them and kept going on with our lives. We went out separate ways but stayed in touch. In June 2018 we both became single and started chatting. He helped me get a job down in NC with him and then started dating. The rest is history💞
We met through eHarmony. I am 3 years older than he is and a friend suggested he try and date older women, so I just made it under the wire— my birthday was the next day and would have put me out of his criteria!! He reached out, we chatted, met a few weeks later, and 18 months later— engaged!
My friend texted me and asked if I was seeing anyone. When I said no, she suggested that I come meet her husband’s friend. I tried to turn her down, but she was persistent, so I showed up to a fire at her parent’s house at 10 pm. He and I didn’t say more than “hi” & “nice to meet you” to each other the entire night. 😂 She gave him my number and we started texting. He would drive 3 hours one way to hang out with me for 2 hours after work at least once a week. I tried to “break up” with him before we were even officially dating because honestly I was scared, but then I realized, oh whoops, I actually like this guy. After the 3rd time he asked me to be his girlfriend, we moved in together about a month later and now 2 1/2 years later, we’re planning our wedding. ❤️ I wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else!
Online through Plenty of Fish. I'd just moved to Phoenix 6 weeks earlier and put my profile back online. After the initial flurry of interest, nothing panned out. I was about to take down my profile again when I got his message. Turns out, he had just gotten back online himself and found my profile. Our first message was on a Sunday, our first date was that Friday, and we've been together ever since! Totally unexpected and out of the blue! I never thought it would happen. He proposed on 1/13/19 and we're getting married a year from today!

Haha yes! Coffee Meets Bagel right here 🙋🏽♀️
He asked a friend for a ride to a church event, because his car broke down and I offered to go with her to pick him up. Later she left and I ended up having to give him a ride back home. Best 20 minute drive I ever had, I knew then how special he was and he says he knew at that moment he was going to marry me. 5 months later we are planning our wedding 🥰
