Haha I actually had no intentions of even being his friend! We lived in the same neighborhood during senior year and my mom kept saying "go talk to him, I hear he doesn't have a lot of friends and he's your age. Plus you'll be in school together!" And I was just "mm... nah. I have my own friends."

Cut to the school year, I was placed in a different class than my pals and having an internal tantrum by doodling. He saw me and was like "omg are you drawing Doctor Who?"

Long story short... Our first teacher was drunk so we didn't have any teachers, second teacher had too much on her plate and forgot about us and never showed and be became best friends.

He smuggled me into an R-rated movie, we made a third wheel out of a group of friends with our flirting, I made fun of him for having manual window-rollers and said "ah nuts. Now you like him"

Luckily so did he and 4 years later he said he'd like to like me forever or something like that

We went to the same HS so I kinda knew him but it was more of a we knew of each other if that makes sense. My freshman year in HS I even helped him ask his then GF to homecoming because they needed an extra person to hold up the question mark! That was the first time I’d ever actually hung out around him. Flash forward 3.5 years and our mutual friend paired us up as prom dates and the rest is history 😂

We met through a mutual friend our senior year of highschool! While in high school (went to different HS) we both also attended a tech school and his friend from his HS was in my class. I saw him once with her and I was like OMG HE IS SO CUTE (lol). I made the first move, a classy Facebook Wall post (LOL) and we immediately hit it off! We talked A LOT & hung out as friends and after graduation he finally asked me out on a date. Shortly after we made it official and have been together ever since!

Our anniversary is December 18th, 2011 & we'll be getting married April 25th, 2020! (He proposed November 2017)

We met the summer before my senior year and before his sophomore year (I am actually only 10 months older than him) at cross country practice. I had never seen him before and thought he looked older than what year he was in in high school. We started talking and grew really close. We became best friends and were always hanging out and started liking each other more and more. Then after a cross country trip to California (about 6 months later) we found out we liked each other through a mutual friend and started dating the day after, December 10th of 2012. We have been together for almost 7 years now and are getting married on December 10th of 2021

Another Online Dating story! I had been doing the bumble / plenty of fish / okcupid thing for a while with lots of garbage results. After getting unceremoniously ghosted / dumped the day before Valentines by someone I’d been seeing for four-ish months, I decided to just go on as many dates as I could in a week with the intention of getting a drink, a few compliments, and nothing more - and then I was going to shut my account down.

I ended up getting a rather sweet (without being try-too-hard or creepy) message from this guy. I didn’t think anything would come of it, but three days after valentines I found myself heading to a coffee shop in downtown Atlanta to meet him. I walked in and when I saw him my heart kind of went “oh. There you are.”

It’s been over a year and a half now, with a couple breaks (long story, doesn’t matter) but we still go to coffee shops on the weekends and he’s still as sweet to me as that first message he sent.

I feel very lucky.

I am LOVING all these stories!

We were both at a tailgaite, I had never met him before but I knew his best friend! His best friend asks him to take a picture of us and days later he asks his best friend who I was (he says it was love at first site :b).

He adds me on FB, realizes I am about to go on a year study abroad trip to Tasmania and messages me saying "ive studied in Tasmania!", which is very unusual because well...who goes to Tasmania?! A year later, I come back and within 2 weeks of being home, he invites me to get pho with him. We had a really fun night and we were inseparable from that point on.

I met my hubby in the 5th grade. We had class together all the way up to 8th grade before he moved away. We became best friends. We started dating our 8th grade year broke up because he moved. But we got back together me senior year of high school. My senior prom he asked me to marry him (of course I said yes!) he moved back right after I graduated for me. We have been together on and off 14 years, been together fully 9 years and 5 years married with two beautiful children a daughter and son together. We are renewing our vows and have our actual wedding next summer!

I met my FH our first day of orientation at college. We are what my school called a "Focus Group Couple". When we introduced ourselves his intro went something like " I just got back from Cali, out of the Air Force and I am 42 years old." Only he didn't say 42 he said 24, but I was sitting across from him in a big circle. I was thinking that he looked amazing for 42, lol. We hit it off after I asked him his age again later that night at the ice cream social. Been together 5 years and getting married six years after the day we met.

My amazing fiancé and i met in our small town, downtown in line to get in to a bar! He was actually standing in front of me in line, i took a step to look inside and i heard from behind me “are you trying to cut me?!” I looked back and there he was! This handsome guy with a beautiful smile and amazing eyebrows aka, the love of my life! After some silly flirting we discovered we have the same birthday!! We laughed and even hugged because “he had never met anyone with the same birthday as him” lol we have been inseparable ever since! I always tell him that i wonder what the other people in line thought of us! They probably thought we were weird! & thats our love story 💕

We started talking on POF. I work with alligators and he had an alligator in his profile pic so I sent him a message. We talked for a few weeks over the phone and then we found out we were going to the same movie at the same time (my childhood crush on Han Solo worked in my favor finally). We saw the Han Solo movie and grabbed dinner afterward. We've been pretty inseparable ever since.

Tinder lol after many years of having the app and deleting it and him only have it for half a year. TBH he was the more sure one of me and I was the skeptical one. Every nice thing he did for me I thought there was a catch or something horrible/douchey was going to happen. HE SURE DID PROVE ME WRONG! lol

We met through friends introducing us. Not very romantic lol
