What's stressing you out?

I know how you feel about changing venues. We are moving to our 3rd venue change in the last 4 months. If this one doesn't work out I will go nuts!!!

OMG Kellie! I am truly sorry! People can be horrible. How can they cancel on you if you didn't reserve the date? That would probably top the stress-o-meter for me! LBVS Right now I'm a little stressed because it's like everything has just halted as far as planning goes. It's because of me because I needed a break. The wedding is one year and some days away, but the months are flying by. I am not in a predicament like you, so I count my blessings. Try a forest preserve or a park district. Those places would probably fall into the rustic chic them you have. Stay prayerful and things will work out for the best. I'm sure they will!! I know this is your special day but remember you're marrying a special man!

We assume a lot of them will not be coming due to them all living all over the country. It sounds like its been a rough go for you. I hope it gets better for you!

I am so sorry that you are going through having to find another venue so close to your wedding. I hope your meeting works out and you find a new venue! I get married 09/22/19, my current stress is securing our hotel block, make up artist, and videographer. I feel like we are doing so good, but getting these details squared away are just stressing me!!!

Umm... everything LOL. It just hit me that we're a little under 6 months out and I just want everything to fall into place, but mostly the financial aspect of stuff. We're paying for everything ourselves and we've got weekly budgets to stick to so everyone gets paid... I'm a spender though and good lort this is hard. I'm just afraid we're overlooking something.

Oh my gosh. Sorry that you're going through that! My biggest stress has been changing my date 3 times to secure my caterer and venue. The second biggest, is the cost! I thought I had enough time because I was planning 2 years ahead of the date but I guess I was wrong! Now that I have secured the dates for the caterer and venue I don't know what's next. I keep checking wedding timelines and I'm not sure to believe now since it's put me in a predicament already.

The money we have to save and then fork over at the end of all of this. We just took our last trip together until our honeymoon next year . I know it will work itself out and the spending will be well worth the effort and time but it's just something to stress over.

Oh, girl! That would by my worst nightmare! My problems are definitely not as big as yours... I hope everything works out for you!

I answered this before, but right now i'm stressed by a vendor who told me he'd call me back in 15 minutes and that was last night. Found a perfect venue and a really good price. I shouldn't have to keep calling him.

Right now I'm stressing over where to have our wedding. We live in Northern California and could afford to do a 100 guest traditional wedding locally, or have our dream wedding on Lake Tahoe with only about 30 people.

What's stressing me out is my fmil is a very extroverted person who loves big parties.... And we the bride and groom are introverts who hate them. Also my groom says he doesn't care about details until he realizes he does...

I wanted to elope and he wanted at least a micro wedding. The family wanted a different day, different time, different venue.... And I am the one paying. We're doing micro wedding.

I have a similar issue with my reception venue and it is stressing me out too! I had a low cost venue reserved at the local Exposition center. I was in contact with them since last year about reserving a date and I contacted them a few times about wanting a contract. They never created a contract for me but they told me the date is reserved and to give them any additional details of things I would need like tables and chairs. I gave them all the info they needed. Now my wedding is May 18th, and when I contacted them to tell them I had the money to pay last week they told me that another party reserved an event for the day after mine ( which isn't a problem) - but they rented out tables and chairs for the event and also reserved a day to set up their stuff on the Friday before my reservation! Now I'm stressed and not sure how we will work out having their stuff set up the day before we are booked. 😩 I am hoping we can come to some kind of agreement that will benefit both parties. #stressed

I feel your pain. Our venue didn’t cancel on us, but they’re making a big change by adding a big ugly tent to our outdoor venue and I feel like it’s just going to make it look worse. They failed to mention this until I asked for an invoice, so on Monday I’ll have to call when they’re open and see if we can have that removed for our wedding day. May is super close, I would reach out to them and see what your options are. Best of luck!!

I actually came back to post again. Want to know what's stressing me out? I am trying to order a "custom order" of real touch flowers from an Etsy vendor, and she keeps saying she'll post the order and then never does. It's been something like a week that I've been waiting! It just sucks that I can't seem to find these particular blooms anywhere else. At this point I think she thinks it's a sure sale, and is dinking around because of that.

I'm stressed because I can't decide where to have our February event. Part of me swoons over wintery mountain photos and part of me wants to be warm... but I'm not a fan of the plain sundress wedding dresses.
