What's stressing you out?

Omg that sounds awful! I’m so sorry. Our wedding is the same day and I can’t IMAGINE our venue canceling at this point!!

The only thing stressing me out now is hotel rooms (not everyone booked on time and now our blocks have expired. not much I can do) and making final decisions for the timeline and flow of the day. Can’t believe we’re down to the last month for all the final details to come together!

I’m so sorry to hear, that’s just terrible and super frustrating and stressful! I hope the venue you look at tomorrow works out.
Let’s see I’m stessed about the cost of it all lol but also I got my wedding cape in the mail yesterday and it’s nothing like the picture!! Ugh so I gotta try and find another one before my wedding also on May 4th!

Hey! We're doing a bulk delivery of 2-3 types of flowers from Sam's Club, DIY simple bouquets and centerpieces. Wayyyy cheaper, could that work for you?

I just started the planning process, and wow! reading this feed has me stressing already! I can't imagine searching frantically for a venue this close to your date! I hope your meeting goes well! Thanks for the RSVP tip! I was planning on weighing out my invitations before I mailed them but i hadn't even thought about the RSVP.

Girl same! Im down about 30 lbs since January but Im stuck at where I am and still like 15 lbs from where I want to be on my wedding day and then an additional 20 after that but I don't want to lose too much and have my dress not work.

The fact that every time I think we can finally make deposits, something comes up and we have to keep postponing it so it just feels like we'll never get this done! Doesn't help that our job doesn't pay us on time and when they don't it's ALWAYS the 1st of the month check, not the mid month check where we can be a little bit more relaxed about it (even though it's still not right) Now we're stuck looking for new jobs.

I think i would probably have a heart attack if that happened! Hopefully you can find a great deal for the rental pieces you will need!

i get married May 11, 2019. We have a week and a half before our RSVP deadline and have only received about half of our responses so far.. and our hotel block has a cut off date for reservations on the 19th of this month... and there are only 2 guest rooms booked. I fel like i cant do any of the final things i truly need to do until we have our final guest count. I feel like I need to start (now!) following up with everyone we havent heard from instead of waiting til after the rsvp deadline so im not even more stressed then! I felt so calm the entire 7 months that we have been planning and now i feel a crazy amount of stress!

I’m stressed about our budget and guest list. We chose a very nice but very expensive reception venue. We have close to 250 people on our guest list, honestly I would have been happy with 150. I’m not worried about going into debt, worst comes to worst we will dip into our savings for a down payment on a house. But, just stressed about the possibility of spending up to $25,000 on our reception.

The cost of everything and the bills it's very hard to maintain bills and the wedding as well as a honeymoon. And I keep forgetting things new bills pop up it's very stressful

Over half of my RSVPs got lost in the mail. I started following up with everyone individually and just told them "I need a headcount for the caterer"

Thank you sweet baby jesus! I was able to get the new venue locked in for the same date. I've figured out how to shift all of my decor from the original outdoor venue to the new indoor venue. I dont need as many rentals (tables and chairs) as I thought I might originally, but I now need to get those secured

I'm not overly stressed because in the end, I know itll work out and regardless of what's going on before, itll have the same outcome...marrying my best friend

There are a couple frustrating parts tho.

We are having a tough time nailing down a priest. They keep passing us around. So that's been fun...

Also, I've been struggling with my photographer. I hired her through a friend who's close with her. I kinda became friends with her too. She's a professional photographer and gave me a great deal and I like her work. I think because we are friends, she thinks that she can put me to the side on things. I took my engagement photos with her early December. Besides a few teaser photos, I just finally got the rest of my photos TWO DAYS AGO......I also was chasing her for a couple months for a contract. She finally sent me one and it was terrible....so I rewrote it and sent it back to her lol luckily she was fine with it and wasn't offended. She's also going through a divorce and just started dating my drone guy....so I'm hoping that relationship doesn't go south before the wedding....

Other than that, though, all is good!

That must be a really big stress I hope it all works out. I have 3 big stressors right now:

my supervisor owes me $500 for a conference I attended in FEBRUARY and I need that to pay for this months’s payment of our venue.

My my sister And I don’t get along so my bff is going to be my MOH but now my sister is refusing to help and even give input (or let us know if she’s coming) to the engagement party, bridal shower, and Bach party.

My FMIL will bring up the wedding and I’ll answer her questions but every time she gets this judgmental look on her face and reminds me that 1. We have plenty of time for things and 2. We have a tight budget. I went crazy in planning in the first month Because we have a tight budget and SHE wants 10 of her friends to come (that’s 1300$ unplanned) and she basically took over the bridal shower without my mom’s permission or my bp’s input.

Your thing sounds way more stressful than me just stressing out because the wedding next month! But basically, I'm stressing about everything.

How many guests are you having? Depending on how many, you could have it at someone’s house.
