What would you prefer? POLL

Getting some room blocking done and one hotel gave us 2 price options. I wanna know, which would you pick?

Option one: $139 (1 king or 2 queens) with breakfast for 2 included (regular $9.99 per person)

Option two: $129 (1 king or 2 queens) & get breakfast on your own

Im torn.. Personally I like the idea of breakfast included however I also like the idea of paying less and doing what I want for breakfast. FH & I can often grab breakfast on the go cheap for the two of us..

I would pick one, just so I had the option.

Are you talking omelette breakfast with toast and what not, or are you talking powdered eggs breakfast with cheapy bacon?

Option 1 if I can get an omelette.

Option 2 if all I can eat are carbs and/or crappy powdered eggs.

Agree with MissCoffeeCake - What kind of breakfast are we talking? Buffet- No. Cook to order - Yes please.

Option #1, if your guest are ok with paying over $100 for the room I really doubt the $10 extra dollars is really going to make a different.

Just a Tip: Try to see the breakfast room or area before making that decision and see what food options are offered. I've stayed at hotels that had super small breakfast area.

I'd probably pick 2 if I were a guest. I rarely eat breakfast so that money would go to waste.

    Option 2.

I was faced with a similar choice for my hotel block. The hotel does a super nice breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant. I went with the no-breakfast option for a few reasons. One, I knew a lot of my friends would be cramming more than 2 people into each room, and if a family stayed in one room there'd be more than 2 people as well, so they'd have to buy the breakfast for the other people, and I didn't want to make them if they didn't. Also, my mom is planning on hosting a morning-after type thing, so people would be fed. And our reception won't get over until midnight and I have a feeling a lot of people will be partying, so I can't see everyone waking up in time for breakfast.

I would pick option 1 (including breakfast).

    A) I wouldn't have to worry about finding a place to eat.

    B) It's only $10 to have breakfast included for 2 people. It's going to be hard to find breakfast for 2 for under $10 (unless you're looking at the dollar menu).

We didn't have a choice. Breakfast was already included. It gets rave reviews on tripadvisor though, so there's that. I figure it will be a good time for FH and I to say good bye to people as they come down to eat. We're going to hang out for awhile.

1 because it brings everyone together into one spot in the morning.

Our DW is $109 (1 bedroom cabin) which includes breakfast for 2 at a mega brunch from 7am-10am

and $169 (2 bedroom cabin) which includes breakfast for 4. We are super excited to have everyone that is part of the wedding all gathering in the mornings for this...will be fun to have the extra time together. Smiley smile Plus the breakfast is super yummy!
