What was your FAVORITE bridesmaid gift you received?

My college roommate crocheted us all blankets. They will be married 11 years in August and I use that blanket everyday.

I received a hand stained wooden box with my first initial on it. Inside was a card with a note from my friend, along with a framed photo of the two of us from her shower, and some other things that reminded her of our friendship. She also gave us small clutches that were the same color of our BM dresses. Everything was so personal and she obviously put a lot of thought into what to put inside the box. I still use the box to this day and have the framed photo. She was married 10 years ago.

Pearl earrings, necklace and bracelet to wear at the wedding. So unoriginal, I know, but I didn't have a good set of pearls and now I wear them about once a week to work. I love them.

A tote bag. I use it to house all my Jamberry stuff for my parties so I don't have to haul around bags or boxes, it's PERFECT.

I'm getting my girls all these awesome duffle bags with some stuff inside. And they are carry on size for airplanes-i have one i use non stop and all the girls have always asked me about them.

ETA: i also got a pretty sterling silver chain at my uncle's wedding 10 years ago. I have worn it almost every day since.

My superBFF (I was her MOH and she was mine) - gifted me a super heavy duty silver wrist cuff w/ poppies engraved on it, when I was her MOH. The engraving on the inside was our favorite quote to each other since we saw the movie Singles in the 90s'. "we will always go dancing". It's one of my most treasured items.

Paying for our make-up or hair. I bought each of my bridesmaids something I thought they would like. My favorite was for my cousin. She bakes so I got her a pie pan with our grandmother's pecan pie recipe baked on the bottom.

My cousin got her bridesmaids (DH was a groomsman) all a overnight back and hid treasures in the various pockets (a necklace, a note, I think there was some lotion). It was super cute!

I'm getting my wedding party (which is super small...our children and my BFF) some jewelry made from the wedding flowers. Pandora beads for the girls and key chains for the boys. They aren't cuff link or money clip people, so the key chains will work. (All that stuff can be made from the flowers and leaves. The leaves will be used to make it look camo)

My bestie spolied us for her wedding last year we got our dress, shoes, hair, makeup , robe with our initials and a MK wristlet . Yes all from one bride / wedding !

The only wedding I have ever been in, the bride paid for our hair and makeup. It was a very generous gift and it turns out I ended up using the MUA that did our make up for our wedding.

I am always so torn about the hair and makeup as a gift, lots of people say its not, but I know plenty of brides who have done it and bridesmaids are really grateful for it. But it seems so much better than jewelry that is most likely to be worn one (except the pearls, that sounds like an awesome idea). Personal gifts tailored to each person sound like a good idea as well.

My best friend, on her bachelorette trip to NYC, got me a belly dance hip scarf. It's got fun little coins sewn onto it, so I jingle when I walk. She got it for me because all the girls were saying they were jealous of how I shook my hips to dance. I don't get to wear it often, but it's definitely a load of fun when I do!

I'm making mine little succulent gardens so they can have it is a little decoration because they're super cute!

The last time I was a bridesmaid, the bride gave us all identical gifts but I love the local honey she put in from her hometown.

I've gotten: tote bag, robe, jewelry (earrings, bracelets), wine glass....mmm I think that's it. I've been a BM like 6 times and all the gifts were similar. Honestly, nothing that really stands out in my mind as a favorite!

A tote bag from one wedding, a really pretty pair of earrings I wear all the time from another, and a cotton thermal robe embroidered with my first initial from another.

A larger sized makeup bag for travel (has different plastic pouches on the inside that snap and zip). From VS over 15 years ago and I still use it for every single trip whether it be overnight or a couple of weeks. Love it!

My friends wedding was in the summer and she got us all flip flops from etsy with our initials on them

One of my favorite bridesmaid gifts was a wineglass made from a pint mason jar with a glass stem put onto it. My really good friend had them made for the whole bridal party. It's such a useful unique gift. I love the fact that I can put the lid on it sealing liquids inside for picnics.
