What song are you dancing to for your first dance and when?

I don't know when I should do it! I know the song is I won't give up.

It'll probably be sometime towards the beginning.

We're dancing to "Tangled Up In You" by Staind.

After dinner, we're dancing to That's Beautiful to Me by Jaron and the long road to love.

Im also thinking after speeches, which is after dinner. Our cateter will need to take down the buffet, so we can open up the dance floor. So im thinking, buffet down, speeches, first dance.. Which is Everlong by the foo fighters. (we. Be playing tangled up in you at some point that evening. Glycerine will be our last song and is dedicated to a close friend who passed away in high school)

Wanted by Hunter Hayes ... Directly after bridal party entrance/introductions into the reception...that way we have everyones attention. At other weddings, I've noticed people tend to disperse after dinner...to go get a drink, to the bathroom...whatever it may be.

We are dancing to More by Bobby Darin. Ours will be after speeches/toasts. We will have a first dance then dance with our mums which will turn into a family and friends dance then the dj will play that funky music!

I am thinking after dinner as well. We will be dancing to "The Story" which is originally by Brandi Carlile but we are doing the Sarah Simmons version.

Perrin Lamb "All I Want", and I'm not sure. We are getting married on a stage at a park, and it's very small. Everyone there is my kids and their significant others. So instead of walking out and then back in (reception is in the same place), we're just going to turn to everyone and do our "woohoo", congratulations type stuff right after. Then, because I am only booking a photographer for the ceremony and family/posed photos right after, we are going to take care of that, so the photog can go. I would say we'll probably do our first dance right after that.

We are leaning toward "Storybook Love" from The Princess Bride for our first dance. I'm not sure of exactly when yet. I don't think we are doing the dancing in thing.

As far as I know, we will be doing Heaven by Bryan Adams. And we'll do the dance right after the entrance. If we do it after dinner, chances are we would already danced and therefore it wouldn't be the "first dance"!

We're dancing to "She's My Kind of Crazy" by Brantley Gilbert. After dinner I think. So after the toasts as well.

I love the song "I won't give up" by Jason Mraz, but it always seemed like the kind of song that applies more to a couple in turmoil, not to a couple on their wedding night

KristenMichelle- that's our song, but I think it suits us perfectly I also look at it as looking towards the future and not giving up on each other.

We're combining our entrance and first dance, and using Cake's "Love You Madly." It was a requirement that our first dance song not be slow because, sorry to say this, I get SUPER BORED watching couples dance to slow songs.

Of course, this means I have to learn to dance. Which I am terrible at, even when I'm wearing comfortable shoes and a long, bulky floor-length skirt.
