So are you ladies dancing when you first walk in or after dinner? Also what's your song?

We are doing our first dance after dinner (speeches will be between courses with our thank you toast begin done after the dessert course) and it's "More in Love with You" by Jason Reeves (he does a lot of work with Colbie Calliat).

We are then dong the traditional dances and then maybe around 30 min of slower dancing….there's not a lot of over 50 people going to be there and we want to party for as long as possible!

All of Me by John Legend

Not 100% sure on the timeline yet though... I feel like most weddings I've been to, it's after their grand entrance as a couple, but now I'm questioning if it should be after dinner?

And we will dance right after dinner/speeches.

We are dancing to Dave Matthew's Oh. I think we are going to do our first dance after the introductions.

We're currently leaning towards "Would You Go With Me?" by Josh Turner. And we'll probably do it as dinner is finishing up. I've noticed that people tend to pay more attention when they've got something in their tummies!

FH wants to dance to something he's familiar with (meaning something old). "Here and Now" is his pick for our wedding song.

We're dancing after the introduction. We want to get everything (toasts & dances) out of the way so we can party!!

Future Mrs Wilson, we used 1000 years part 2 by Christina Perri also. We did first dance and the father daughter, mother son dances right after we came in. Then we got to sit down and eat and it just be us for a few minutes. It left us time after dinner to visit guests, and sneak off for a few more pictures and since people were now dancing we didn't feel pressured. The only other thing that we felt that people were waiting for us to do was the cake cutting and exit so we just got to enjoy the rest of the reception. That worked for us but we are close to everyone who attended, so once the "mandatory" things were done we just celebrated with everyone. Speaches were done as dinner was ending, being cleaned up. It might not work for everyone, but was perfect in my opinion.

Not sure when. and being that we still have a ways to go, this might change.

but as of right now, we've chosen the piano version of "then" by brad paisley. FH picked it. i've always liked the song, but it was sweet to hear him say that's how he feels. Smiley smile
