Boulder creek w/ Wedgewood Weddings- this creek side seating area is what sold me for our venue and we booked it right after touring. It was the only venue we toured and that's all i needed to know it was the one for us!! Absolutely beautiful site and amazing company to book through!!

I love how beautiful that indoor space is! And those chandeliers are so unique! That outdoor lounge space looks perfect for a cocktail hour too. Will your ceremony and reception both be held in the same room?

I love that my venue is in our local mountains so it feels like a destination wedding, but is only an hour drive! It’s all inclusive, which has made planning super simple. It’s all outdoors, which has allowed for less covid stress. It has housing on site, so guests can stumble back to their rooms . It is in the forest, so we don’t need to spend much on decorations. It was the first place we found when looking online, and nothing else we saw even came close to feeling as perfect for us!

Yes but we took off the outside money needed to go elsewhere. So both things will be held inside now. When I saw some pics I went to check it out and when me and my daughter went inside we were stunning on how beautiful it look inside. And no stairs became have disabled ppl attending. This why I didn't need to go over board with too much decor.

I agree, the inside of that room doesn't seem to need much decor at all! I think that with a pop of color from the tablecloths, you'd likely only really need centerpieces and maybe uplighting. Otherwise, the room looks fancy as is, especially with that beautiful flooring. Are you using the same color tablecloths and centerpieces as shown in the photos? Very cool that the venue is accessible to everyone attending!

Hi we are not maybe some white trees that I will have to rent. My tablecloths and centerpieces we are making them ourselves our colors are yellow and Grey. They are giving us the tables and chairs which are white or clear. I bought all of my linens and chargers centerpieces to cut cost and we will have some up lighting with petals around the centerpiece which are clear vauses
My husband actually discovered our venue while he was on his way to meet me at another one! It had a big fancy marquee with the name Meridian on it. He took a picture of it and said we should check it out. I’m so glad we did! The full name of it was Meridian Banquets in Rolling Meadows, IL. We liked their manager the best of the ones we met, and the decor was beautiful. What really sold us was when we learned it had once been a movie theater! We’re big movie buffs, so that did it for us.

I love that light curtain!! Even better that they are flexible with what you need. Are you using that same curtain for your ceremony and/or reception?

Oh my gosh, no way!! I grew up in that area, and went to that movie theater many times as a kid! I can't remember when it closed, but I haven't been in there since it became a banquet hall (I moved out of the area). It looks like a nice place though. Awesome that you found it by driving past it!
1) The price. Less than $5000 for Friday all day, Saturday all day, and Sunday till noon, was unheard of. We’re planning on a budget and that was the lowest price I had heard by far2) The owners. Sooooo nice and seemed very flexible and personable.3) The space itself. Room for people to spread out and the reception area is so stunning it hardly needs any decorations! No venue is perfect, but this feels pretty darn close! 😍
