What nickname or pet name do you call your partner?

Babe. All the time. Lol it's weird when I actually call him by his name. When I do call him by his name he looks at me and says "its babe to you".

I call him by his name, it's weird because my son I call baby, babe, kiddo, honey, his nickname is Bubba and I call him Bubba Bear. Our pets I call all kinds of whatever comes to mind. Our dog's name is Kruger, I call him Kruger Booger, Booger Bear and a bunch of other nonsense. FH and I joke about how he doesn't get a nickname with me lol. I don't know why that is.

Babe! I always call him babe. If I call him by his name he calls me by mine all dramatic like he's offended that I used him name 😂 But other names I call him from time to time are cutie and hottie!

Babe, Darlin, Shug, Sugar, Boo..we use a ton of them.

Lol I call him Bruh (like bro)

He calls me by my last name, we have known each other for over 20 years & he started this back in the day. I call him B., it's short for a nickname that I gave him back in the day. When he calls me Jen, I know it's serious!

My FH has picked up saying "yes dear" all the time just like my dad does to my mom lol but really he calls me all of the above. It's a problem if he calls me by my actual name. Weirdly though it feels weird calling him by a pet name. Like I only do jokingly.

Neither of us do pet names. His name is Jay so it literally cannot be shortened. My husband likes to emphasize "wife" now though and it's super cute.

We're not a fan of most pet names, but the ones we do use the most are "darling" and "sweetheart" plus a few other ones that are inside jokes and a play on our names.

Inside Joke...

We call each other 'Boobie', and 'Boob' for short.

Before we got together, I didn't know my FH's name for a while. Everyone just called him "cowboy", and I had gotten use to calling him that and that's what I called him when I introduced him to my kids. LOL

Now, I still call him cowboy, but I also call him sweetheart, babe, baby, honey, darling, dear, good looking, and sexy. I use his name when he doesn't respond to the pet names. His pet names for me are babe, baby, and little booger.

We really don’t do nicknames unless we’re frustrated with each other. He calls me sugar plum and I call him honey. It helps us communicate to work out our frustration instead of arguing lol. It’s a method that kept us happily together for five and half years!

I call my FH Jenny (his real name is Jean). Honestly don't remember when I started calling him that lol. I also call him bubba or bubby.

I'm all about the pet names!! I use "babe" and "baby" a lot, and you can tell how annoyed / angry I am by the pet name I use! I start out at light annoyance with fairly standard pet names like "sweetheart" and as I get more annoyed they get more ridiculous... "angel face" is a sure sign that I am getting pissed.

Also somewhere along the way we started referring to each other as "boyfriend" and "girlfriend", but in a "hey boyfriend - do you remember what weekend so-and-so's wedding is?" way. Now it's a habit we can't break and I still call him "boyfriend" after over a year of marriage!

He calls me Monkey. All the time. If he actually calls me by my name I look at him funny.

If I'm calling him by a nickname, it's Toddy. I lack imagination in the nickname department.

We started out using everything, babe a lot, but now we both exclusively only use baby. That's it. Just baby. In fact, I don't recall the last time we used each other's names to address each other. Only when we are talking to others do we use names!

Mi vida, mi amor, mi corazon, love or love of my life (sometimes dripping in sarcasm if he left the sponge out or forgot to run the dishwasher)
