What made you fall in love with your significant other?

serisouly, OUR FIRST DATE we stayed up and talked till he had to drive back for PT with no sleep and there was no lull in conversation. HOURS of it.... and then, he called me while i was at work the next day just to leave my house answering machine a message. so i had something to listen to when i got home AWWWWWWWWWWW he is so cute... 10 years and 3 kids later, i still love him to pieces... him and the thigh holster! lol

I met my FH while I was enjoying the 2 beer advantage before a match.com meet. I had just turned 40 and I was carded. I was so darn excited that I thanked the bartender. Smartarse from across the bar said, "Don't get too excited. They carded me." He bought me a beer, and when my "meet" arrived I introduced the two. The date was a dud with a really bad western shirt(a checked shirt with metal tips). Thankfully, the Smart arse(a.k.a. FH) at the bar slipped me his card. When I called him the first words out of his mouth were, "The dude had a really bad shirt." We have been laughing ever since.

Seriously, he makes me feel like I am a princess. He cherishes me.

I love Mike because he has a great sense of humor. He always has something to be positive about, which makes me feel more positive in turn. Doesn't hurt that he's cute as hell either when we got back together and he told me one of his goals in life is to get married and have kids, that was like little *ding!* bell in my head that told me to never let go! We've always been able to talk through our issues and/or come to a compromise. My family loves him and thinks he's a strong, respectable and responsible man. He has always given help to others without caring if there is something in return. He puts up with my ass even through all of my bad mood days, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!

My hubby got along so well with my mom from the start he actually sends her texts and calls her just to say hi. I knew then he was the one. A man that does something like that out of the goodness of his heart is def. a keeper!

He treats me in a way I've never been treated before. I had to question myself if this was really what a healthy relationship is supposed to be like. I had to question if I really deserved someone like him. His kindness, generosity, and complete devotion to me showed me that he intends to be with me forever. That's what made me fall in love with him.

He is so sweet, kind, and understanding. He is patient with my MANY faults and loves me in spite of them. And he is SO SEXY in his riding jacket and on his motorcycle!

Well ... how did I fall in love with FS ... It honestly just happened ... I was a bit of a mess when I came to him, just gotten off academic probation in college, and felt I was on a great track ... but something was missing and I knew that night after he dropped me off at my friend's house that he was what was missing from my life ... I had always known there was something special about that boy I had my locker next to in 10th grade ... I crack up thinking 11 years ago, we just began school ... and our lockers were both being well lockers ... he was new, I was a sophomore had grown up in the area, knew every little thing about each of our classmates and in turn they knew every little thing about me ...it was a small midwestern home town, down to the point where the place to be on Friday nights was the high school football field no matter your age ...

The whole town shut down for 2 hours every year for the homecoming parade ... it is a great little town and then stay open late the night of the homecoming game. well I'm way off track ... and we both had to go to the office to report our lockers not working ... we parted ways for 1st period and then I was sitting in 3rd period talking to a friend and he walked in ... I managed a small smile and as time went on we just got to talking and I was amazed at how well I fell into conversation with him (still do). Okay ... so I crack up every time I think about us trying to figure out our lockers, little did we know right there, right besides each other, that was going to be my husband and I his wife ... Everything with him is just so natural, I never once felt I had to pretend to be someone I wasn't ... With him I can laugh, joke and just enjoy being in his company and I cannot wait till we are married ...

He is so kind, warm, and respectful. He never raises his voice to me, or talks down to me. Animals and children love him, and when he talks to someone, he looks them straight in the eye. He gives people in general the benefit of the doubt and does not judge. I fell in love with him because I felt like I have never meant so much to someone, and no one has ever meant so much to me!! We crack up all the time, and "get" each other...we just click! He would do anything to make me happy....he's just a wonderful person, I'm the lucky one

It wasn't just one thing it was a lot of little things he did but I knew he was a keeper because he was very supportive with me and my job. When he and I met I worked in as a caseworker in foster care and had a VERY emotional and difficult case, some days I would come home and from working and met up with him and he would listen to me, cook me dinner, or desert or all 3 as well as let me rant, cry or not talk about it at all.
