What is your groom wearing? ...over the underwear ;)

I might be able to live with white but not with pinstripes and black accents. It honestly reminds me of something for a prom. Sorry. My FH and the groomsmen will wear black.

I have seen a lot of Grooms these days going back to the white tux style.

Not sure if it is going to stick around or be gone soon and show up in another 20 years.

I think it should be something he looks good in and something he really wants to wear.

Mine is pretty sure about wearing all black like Johnny Cash...I'm leaving it up to him.

. . . i think it is incredibly tricky to pull off a white tux without looking like a cheap rental and / or a bad prom choice (sorry -- just my opinion)...

one option might be to guide him towards a black pant / white dinner jacket vs. an all white tux... the black / white is a

classic / longstanding tradition, especially nice if you are having a formal evening event.

my husband wore a custom tailored black ted baker.

Our wedding will be outdoors on a wooden deck attached to a lodge, overlooking beautiful country land, upstate NY (lots of fields, some hills, and stuff), at NOON. alternative for bad weather would be in the lodge, where the reception will be. We just went to the Tuxedo Junction and he is still saying thius white thing, not the black accents like in link but otherwise similar. He wore a gray one to prom in HS, so he will not wear that one. I think he should wear what he wants to, although I still sort of feel like the dark is more of a classic... not that I know anything about fashion- I'm only 25, and am sitting here in sweatpants, LOL. He says that the reason he wants white is because he "thinks it matches the Malibu (David's) better, because it is a light colour, than it goes with black."

FH will wear his Army dress blues.

Mine will be wearing the Vera wang suit from men's wear house. And he's quite handsome in it.

He's a power lifter and has a bigger build so he needed a suit that looked more fitted otherwise he'd look like he was wearing a trash bag. He's got a black suit, white vest and blue tie. The groomsmen have blue vests and blue ties.

If he really wants a white tux and you are ok with it go for it. I personally think the plan white tux is alot better then the pinstripe. Where in Upstate are you getting married? I used to live In Ithaca NY...so beautiful up there!

I am not into the white tux either. However I LOVE a grey or tan tux. My FH will be wearing a black suit and blue tie for our nuptials

FH will be wearing Air Force Mess Dress (the tuxedo uniform with bow tie). FH says it's "off-navy" in color. The groomsmen are all civilian, and will wear the standard tuxedo attire: black tuxedo, black full vest, black bow tie, black shoes, and white tuxedo shirt. FH is leaning towards one button for the guys. It's a June wedding, but no white for us! Black tuxedos have been timeless for over a 100 years. We're not going to change anything now.

I am not crazy about what my FH chose, but I dont hate it either, and like you said it is their special day too and they deserve to feel as great as we do! :-) We just went to mens warehouse this morning. The tux your FH chose has a lot of elements going on but it is neat that he wants to have his own personal style. It is white, it has pin stripes AND black button with black lapel, a pleated shirt, ad the vest and bow tie have a texture/paisley on them. They are all neat trends but perhaps his persnal style would shine through more if he eliminated one of the aspects, as it could be too much to take in, know what I mean? Idk if it were me i would feel a little weird about the groom being in white. i mean thats kinda suppose to be the brides color. but its whatever is comfortable for you. if you like them or not. my FH is wearing a black tux with pinstripes and a fedora with a purple vest.

Black Wranglers and black boots/shoes. Rest of it TBD. Country boys love their Wanglers and it needs to be simple.

Mens Warehouse has a chocolate tux so we want FH to try it on and see how it looks. With an Oct. (fall) wedding and my plans to wear leopard print shoes, we thought it might look good. If not, we'll go with a black tux.

We aren't the fancy types haha so the groom's side is wearing black polos with grey/charcoal pants and we will have malibu blue bouts (to match the BMs' dresses).

Ours are wearing grey suits. I've never liked tuxes, and am not a fan of a white suit or tux unless the guy is darker skinned. And I don't mean that as racist, I swear! I just like the contrast of white on darker skin.

Just going simple, FH is wearing black suit, white shirt, and skinny tie.

I have seen a few grooms who wear white or off white but not what I would prefer.
