Steve has suggested wearing this white tux ......

I'm not sure. What is your groom wearing? We went to a friend's wedding in October, and the groom wore white. I've always imagined him wearing a darker color but I do think that looks kind of classy. I'm sure he would look handsome in anything!

...as long as he's gonna take it off after this thing is over!

Does anybody know if this is more of a "current trend"?

...does it really matter?

I'm not a fan of the pinstripes myself- white can work but it really does depend on the surroundings.

For instance, I'm wearing ivory- therefore him wearing white is definitely out of the question. Also- all of our colors are deeper/darker colors so he'll stand out a LOT and it just wouldn't work. If you're having lighter colors it's definitely not as bad.

We are having a beach wedding so I didn't want a tux. Way too formal for a beach wedding IMO. We went yesterday
to the Perry Ellis store and bought a beautiful tan linen suit. He will have on an offwhite shirt with cufflinks a a matching tan linen vest.

Looks sorta vintage - and will match perfect with my ivory dress.

My FH is wearing a grey tux from Black Tie Formal Wear, it's a nice contrast against my ivory dress and the girls aqua dresses the guys are gonna wear the grey vest that match the tuxes and FH is wearing an ivory tie and the GM are wearing aqua ties, very chic and sophisticated
