Another post reminded me of the first dance....so what song are you/did you go with?

We are going with The One That You Love~Air Supply.

    We are doing "the Luckiest" by Ben Folds. My FH used to sing it to me when we were dating so I could not imagine any other song.

    My twin sister is a signer/songwriter and is amazingly talented. We are having her and her band play for a bit during the reception and I will pick one of her songs to do our first dance to, as well as the father-daughter dance. I think it will be really special because her songs are so beautiful and we are so close.

    She said she just hopes she can sing without crying!

    Mistie, Thats what we used.

    We also went for dance lessons and did a semi choreographed dance to it. Nothing crazy, just some moves to make it special.

    Well, i wanted to do "More than Anyone" by gavin degraw but my FH wanted to do "Woman was made for man" by Frank Sinatra, and every time i hear that song i start singing the biggie smalls version... haha... so now i think we've decided on "Feelin' Good" by nina simone... not exactly the typical first dance song but we both really like the song and that genre of music...

    October bride- LOVE that song! We are using that as our wedding party dance!

    - the lyrics are PERFECT!
