So this is just kinda a random post. But I called my venue yesterday and asked about possibly adding additional hours...they told me sure that will be $1,000 an hour! Soooo not sure we will be doing that. B But I need to go into this business, they are making a killing lol

Reception venue (includes food and drinks), followed by our flowers/decor/DOC package and then our band.

Cash flow? What does that have to do with anything? Even for a very high end wedding, with no budget, food/bar/venue usually makes up the largest percentage of the budget. It's about percentages and breakdowns and food/beverage/venue is typically around 50% of the total budget. Unless you go super high end on the dress and cheap out on the food I guess. Or you have a very small guest list as I said.

Our venue is a little over 30% of our budget, and it includes DJ, DOC, valet parking, and some decor but not food & alcohol. Food and drink together will probably be another 30%

My parents are footing a lot of the bill (lucky us I know), so I don't see the budget really. But I imagine it is the venue, food/drinks, photographer, dj, my dress (I paid for that lol), the ceremony/priest, then the smaller stuff.

Ours is venue/food. Our photographer is a close second though
