So this is just kinda a random post. But I called my venue yesterday and asked about possibly adding additional hours...they told me sure that will be $1,000 an hour! Soooo not sure we will be doing that. B But I need to go into this business, they are making a killing lol

The catering is by far the biggest expense. But the biggest single item I've gotten so far is my dress! It was around 1600. About 3x my original dress budget. But we've saved in other areas and like I told FH: If I'm going to splurge and go over budget on any ONE thing, it should be my dress right?! That's how I keep justifying it to myself.

I think for us after our venue, it would be the photographer and then my dress...hopefully the florist is not too bad...oh and if you count the honeymoon i not sure. We would like to do a cruise to cut down on some of that cost.

My dress seems like it will be the most expensive. My venue isn't going to cost anything.

The venue, it take almost all my original budget for that wedding. It includes food, cocktail hour, open bar, linens, chairs, plates.

Food and booze, followed by decor (this includes rentals, lighting setup, flowers, bouquets and bouts, etc), then photography.

Catering hands down... We haven't figured out if the consumption bar option will save us any money as compared to an open bar, but we'll be picking between those two options so alcohol and food.

Definitely food! Compared to the food everything else for my wedding has been pretty cheap.

Opened bar was for us. Especially since we have guests with expensive taste when it comes to alcohol (me being one of them lol)
