What is the most expensive thing so far for your wedding??

So this is just kinda a random post. But I called my venue yesterday and asked about possibly adding additional hours...they told me sure that will be $1,000 an hour! Soooo not sure we will be doing that. B But I need to go into this business, they are making a killing lol

    My dress!! Which was $1000! I live in a small town and I am having a barn wedding and we have the property from Thursday to Sunday our wedding is Saturday and it was only $300 the benefits of living in a small town

    The catering. The catering alone (not including venue costs) is $125 per person.

    Venue/ food. Our transportation for our guests was also more than I anticipated, but SF/napa pricing is higher with most things I was budgeting.

    Catering/booze. Luckily the venue and ceremony are included in that price. I did have to pay $500 for the room to get ready in. I get it doe the day and pictures in there will be great. It bears 7 women getting ready in one hotel room down the road and getting dressed in a bathroom right before.

    Venue/catering/open bar are definitely most expensive for us. Photography/Videography comes next.

    So far it's photography then venue. Haven't decided where to hold our reception and I haven't started shopping for a dress. Im sure this could change

    Pretty sure that food/drinks/venue SHOULD be the most expensive aspect of everyone's wedding unless they have very few guests or aren't feeding their guests well / properly.

    Venue is most expensive in mine but i am paying of an entire resort so.....

    I believe our venue, which will be a tent in our yard. FH really wanted to get married at our home and I originally thought it would be cheaper Hahahahaha... After renting everything, for just the "venue", we are over 8k... that's not food, alcohol, photographer, DJ, bartender.... just tent, tables, chairs, tablecloths, dance floor, lights for around the tent, etc...
