What does your wedding purse/clutch/bag look like?

Mrs. DooPwee, on March 22, 2013 at 12:41 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

Are you (did you) even going to use one? I've been shopping around to find something that I can keep make up, gum, my cellphone in after the ceremony.

Well....here's the thing. hahaha Smiley laugh I've looked and looked but haven't found one that's really perfect, and I realized it's not like i'm going to be checking my cellphone during the ceremony lol, so I'm not going to have one.

My plan is to either put the few things I will need in my bridesmaids purse, or just keep a little bag (but nothing special that I don't already have) of stuff that I can keep in the church in case I need it Smiley smile

I wasn't going to get one and my BMs keep telling me that they will put an emergency kit together that they will take care of. But then when I bought my shoes I saw one that was GORGEOUS!!! So now I keep thinking about it....

I have been looking for one as well. There are some amazing and perfect ones on etsy, but all the ones I love are more than $70 and I am not willing to spend that one a purse I will probably only use a couple of times ever. I do really like this one but it is still $60 and again I think it's too much $$.

I will keep hunting. I found some nice ones on milanoo.com, but not sure if I trust that site. Anyone have any personal experience with it?

Gloriana, I totally agree with not checking my cellphone during the day lol. I doubt I'll have the time! Lol.

I'm only having one bridesmaid it seems atm so I'll kinda be on my own when it comes to having my own stuff and taking care of the little emergencies.

That is a gorgeous clutch! I was looking at something like that. Yeah. Not looking to spend a fortune on it. I was actually starting to look at the Asian sites. Found some for super cheap w shipping included but they take FOREVER to get here.

Actually I bought a tote bag that's all black and says Bride in silver sequence on one side. I've been using it so far, can't wait to use the h*ll out of it on the big day!

I dont understand the need for one. The absolute LAST thing i want to do is go around a four-hour reception toting a purse! the dress will be enough of a pain in the butt let along carrying a purse. Not going to be checking my phone, dont need gum with all that food, and FH can carry money in his wallet, so i wont be using one.

I got one for the same reason, I don't plan on carrying it, just leaving it on my table for easy access. I didn't want to spend much on it either, yay for Amazon! Heres mine:

I had a small beaded purse that my MOH lent me (used it for her wedding). Kept a lipstick, keys, money & ID, phone (off the entire time) and my birth control in. My MOH mostly took care of it during the day. Stayed at my chair during the reception. Was leaving from the reception to the hotel afterwards, so needed some of that stuff for the next day.

Like Katie L I'll keep my on my seat. I hate being with out certain things like gloss or chapstick. Very nice clutch too btw Smiley smile

We plan on going out after, the ones who drink, for a little after wedding party of sorts. So I'll need something to keep my id's and such in as well.

Nice Coach wristlet. Pretty color Smiley smile

We are staying at the same place we are getting married that night, so I will have everything I need close by if there is an emergency. I don't want to end up forgetting mine at the end of the night with everything that is going on!
