Hello brides (and maybe grooms🤷🏽‍♀️)


I need ur help. I was given the below for a package from a photographer however I want to get ur thoughts on how much you think something like this would costs? I don’t want to reveal what he is asking just want ur thoughts.
Offering based on what I need for our big day: - about 4 hours of photo coverage - getting ready / ceremony / after photos [formal /semi formal] family, wedding party etc.- pre wedding photo session to be scheduled and shot any time before wedding date in 2021- final photo gallery posted online to a password protected site . . . with copyright use for client.- wedding day photo coverage plus complimentary video - final gallery posted online with copyright- wedding album book provided

    It depends a lot on where you live and how long the photographer has been shooting

    But what would you expect to pay for all this based on where "you" live and with a photographer that has been shooting for more than 15 years

    It depends on where you live and the photographers experience. In my area it’s hard to find a photography package for less than $5,0000. A video and a physical album would add another couple thousand to the total.

    We paid $3,200 for 8 hours of photography then another $2,500 for 3 videos. We are in Denver.

    In my area, this would cost between $2,000-$4,000, especially with the album included. We opted to not go with an album and it saved us $800 off our photographer’s package.

    Ok I have to share. Lol. All of that was quoted @ $1,400. No reception coverage. (Central NY). A lot of other photographers are asking for $1400-$1500 starting and don’t include the engagement shoot or album and surely not offering video

    This is a customized package. He threw in the album free. I wonder what we’d save though if removed that. 🤔. I’m going to ask.

    We are getting married in Southwest Florida and we have all of the same things you are getting minus the album/video. Our photographer is booked for 8.5 hours and is $1800

    For wedding day at 4 hours, I would typically expect around $2,000 or less.

    For pre-wedding shoot, upwards of $500-$800

    For exactly that we are paying 2500! Another person tried to force a full day for 8k and we said no way!

    We didn't want/need the video or wedding album but we had everything else and paid $850 which I thought was reasonable. She got us all our photos back in 3 days for our engagement shoot and wedding.

    I am in Georgia which I understand is one of the less expensive wedding states.

    Our photographer is offering us 8hrs of unlimited photos, 2photographers, engagement photos are included, this includes makeup and getting dressed photos, wedding, reception, family & friends pictures, and only for $2,000

    That is incredible inexpensive. We are paying almost $5k for 10 hours of photography, 2nd photographer, USB with all images, and engagement shoot.

    If we had added a videographer that would have been another $2k.
    Album is also extra.

    We are paying 2,000 for 10 hours of coverage and a second shooter including engagement session and a photo album, and 2,000 for all day video coverage.
