I need ur help. I was given the below for a package from a photographer however I want to get ur thoughts on how much you think something like this would costs? I don’t want to reveal what he is asking just want ur thoughts.
Offering based on what I need for our big day: - about 4 hours of photo coverage - getting ready / ceremony / after photos [formal /semi formal] family, wedding party etc.- pre wedding photo session to be scheduled and shot any time before wedding date in 2021- final photo gallery posted online to a password protected site . . . with copyright use for client.- wedding day photo coverage plus complimentary video - final gallery posted online with copyright- wedding album book provided

    This guy doesn't normally include video however he offered it and the album free (we originally didnt want it)! His normal pricing w/ video is well into the $2000 range

    I am in Richmond and I'm paying close to $6,000. That included the engagement photos, wedding photos, all pictures, photo booth at the reception, video, disk, wedding books, one year anniversary photo package and a few other things. This is based on 9 hours of coverage with 2 photographers to cover from morning of wedding to end of evening. Photos can be expensive but it sound like what you are receiving is a good deal.

    I paid $1400 for 6 hours, no video, no album but have the rights to all photos. Sounds like a great deal! I live in Daytona Beach, FL so everything is expensive here. If he threw in the album for free, I DEFINITELY would not ask how much you would save for him to remove it. It was free, so that is in poor taste, and you aren't saving any money if he gave it to you for free. Just my advice!

    I would expect to pay around $3,000 for this at minimum. And I live in a cheaper area.

    Hard to say, we have an awesome photographer we’ve been using for years. We are paying $1300 including an album, 6hrs of time and all printing rights to fully edited pictures

    We are paying 1800 for a well known photographer in the Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids MI area. This included the engagement shoot and 8 hours of wedding day coverage. Plus a USB with all photo rights

    I would say 2-4,000 based on how famous and published the photographer is. If they are in high demand and very well known (on social media), they will inflate the heck out of their prices because they can :/

    We bargened with the photographer and videographer and got a great deal always been told a close mouth dosent get fed you dont know if you dont ask saying. well it came in handy im paying $1,300 for unlimited photos from the time they get to the church in the early morning to the end of party 11pm all photos are getting put onto a usb. We also get 2 (20×30) canvases pictures of our choice and video of the entire reception start to finish 2pm-11pm which will also go onto a usb. I am in Washington state
    The average before finding the people we did averaged around $2,500-$4,000 before negotiating on price!

    I live in the DC area....that would be like $5-$7k

    This is why we chose a domestic destination wedding.

    In the south everything is cheaper. I wish we lived south, but eh ... we are here and have to work w/ what we got. lol
