What can I use besides rose petals for the flower girl baskets?

Leaves! We don't have a flower girl, but if we did we would have her throw leaves. Since your wedding is in October, that's perfect! And free!

i saw you said youre not a big fan of confetti but think out of the box - i know my dollar store sells silver star shaped confetti. whats your wedding theme? maybe that will help us? tell us some other things your doing for the wedding that can give us ideas

Hydrangea petals???? but skittles sounds good and then you could pick them up and recycle as favors, maybe.....lol...well...you know recycle and all...

I love pumpkins idea, especially since you are getting married in October! But I also love the rice idea.

@ Krystal, I think rice might get smooshed all over the floor as well. Either that or someone might slip & fall on it, we don't want that. Thanks though!

@ Mom, I don't really think I want to do flower petals at all, I'm thinking I might go with leaves like Pumpkin said, it's pretty cool.

I am using dried flowers that FS has given me over the years, its a family tradition to save the roses and such, I am not big on keeping them more than a few years so I am using the dried flowers as the petals
