What are your projects after the wedding?

I know a lot of people have a little bit of a let down after the wedding because there's no longer anything to plan so I've been setting myself up with projects to keep me busy. The biggest will be packing up my house and trying to sell items we don't need on ebay. What is everyone else's post...

Well, right before the wedding, we are getting our most amazing garden boxes put together (see pic attached). we have to figure out the irrigation situation.

    and then....

    1) get knocked up during the honeymoon!

    2) continue our most amazing garden!

    3) put the house into order for the baby! HAHAHAHA! Smiley smile

I guess I'm the only one who wishes all of this planning and work was over already. I just plan on being a wife and catching up on my vacations. Oh and no kids for me either. I think I want to wait a year or too.

Future Plans? Is there life after planning a wedding?; )

Since it will be October, and the riding season will not be over, we will ride until it is too darn cold to ride. Then, I will plan a trip to Jamaica or the Riviera Maya for 2012.

I plan on getting back into my hobbies, since getting engaged I've been preoccupied with wedding projects. I want to get back into crocheting, I have been asked for so many blankets but I just don't have the time. I want to get into scrapbooking, learn how to use a sewing machine. I want to bump up this weight loss thing. I want to learn about credit and see how to bump up FS and my scores we'll be saving for a house for a while so we want to make sure our cred is good too.

We have our mini-moon after the wedding and when we get back we return to life as usual. But we have our honeymoon to look forward to in the winter. Nothing I love more than sitting on a beach in the Caribbean when Boston is covered in snow.

Well we just bought a house back at the beginning of December and there is a TON that I want to do to it! We were able to get every room but the spare bedroom painted, so I want to do that. Also I want to work on sealing the basement so that it doesn't leak, do lawn work stuff outside. Oh ohh I also want to re-upholster the set of 4 dining chairs that I stole ($30 for all 4!!! And they're structurally in great shape!!) And well there's just a ton of little stuff for the house we want to do! I will miss wedding planning so much though!!!

We'll be looking for a job for FH. Depending where he gets placed, we'll be moving and maybe looking for a new job for me, and a program for me to get my Master's at.

Also, NOT getting preggers. Smiley smile

FH will be re-starting school, and I'll be ending it. I get my Master's in May, the wedding is in July, then FH starts his Masters program in tha fall...

But my real project will be our "at-home reception." Since we're technically having a DW, we'll do a party afterwards. We'll just have mvoed (we hope), so I'll be settling into the new house, putting together our wedding album and just remembering what it's like to sleep.

I am so looking forward to getting back to my crafting and scrapbooking. Any crafting time I get right now is for the wedding. After July, I will have a wonderful new project to scrapbook and plan to make scrapbooks for FH's mother and a mini-album for FH to show off.

I also hope to re-organize the house and set things up for two-person living.
