My mom is getting us a suite at The Broadmore in Colorado Springs. It's a reeeeaaaaally nice hotel that is ridicuously expensive but I mean, hopefully you only have one wedding night so my thought is, it is totally worth the investment

We have a hotel room, the plan is to walk across the skywalk to the hotel (one of the reasons we booked it haha) adn then crash hard until the next morning. We already discussed the sex thing and have agreed that we're going to be way too tired even think about it. a nice shower and then some cuddling. the next morning though ...

I will start looking into hotels, do they have special packages for newlyweds? just curious

I would definitely look into getting a room.. if you have any room blocks made at hotels, you might be able to get a deal on your room if enough of your guests book there

We are hoping to get a free room if so many people book out of the block of hotel rooms. FMIL is working on that right now.

We stayed at a hotel Sunday night, spent the next day with friends who had flown in from out of town and then left Tues morning for the honeymoon. In all honesty, taking a day off before you leave for he honeymoon is a good idea. You are so beat after the wedding, it's nice to catch your breath.

They usually have romance packages and/or newlywed deals, you can google it oooor talk to the booking manager and ask what kind of deals they have. Usally they will at least give you like a free upgrade.

We went back to the apartment, but it was special because we had waited.

We left on our honeymoon the next morning on an early flight, so a hotel would have been a problem logistically - getting someone to get all our stuff gathered and back to the apartment and everything.

I am getting married out of town so I will have a hotel room already and we're also not going home for a few days later. We are not doing a honeymoon until Christmas time though.

As far as relations though, I am not kidding myself into thinking we will have any! lol! So many brides say that they were so exhausted after the wedding and I'm sure I will be no different. But as I said, we have a few days after in the hotel, so we will have time for that later. :p

Get a hotel You only get one wedding night! And show up in your wedding gown and ask for an upgrade when you check in. We got upgraded at every hotel we've been to since the wedding just because we said we were on our honeymoon (we roadtripped, so several hotels!)

We also are getting a Bridal suite for the night. We're getting married in Niagara Falls so if people are still looking to party after 11 we might go to the Casino because they are open and serve all night. I feel like i'd want to do that becuase i want to keep by dress on for a few moments later but realistically i think we might just crash and wait until the next day to do the hibity dibity! We Leave for our Honeymoon on Tuesday there will be plenty of time for that!

HOTEL @ Fawn... YES, YES! I will be sooooo glad I That my new husban and I do not have to share our bed with a demanding 3 year old. I love with all my heart but she really puts a damper on snuggle time!

Well we will be staying at a hotel all weekend anyways.... we are having a nice dinner reception at the hotel and then hitting the bars in the hotels so after some dancing at the many different hotel bars all we have to do is hit the elevators back to our rooms. The rest of the family will be leaving the next day, however FH and I will be sticking around for an additional day to kick back and relax. We have dinner reservations to see the Jersey Boys Sunday night and then we will head back to the house on Monday.

We pick up the rental truck on Tuesday and start loading it so we can hit the road to make the cross country trek on Wednesday - Halloween - which we hope to be spending in Las Vegas baby!!!
