What are you most excited about?

I’m so excited to FINALLY get to wear my wedding band!!

I am just excited about meeting family members I haven't seen in quite a while. Weddings are a good excuse for a reunion.

Yeah, I will, I am deciding on whether to go with an experienced but more expensive one or someone up and coming with less experience, but less expensive. I am kind of leaning toward the up and coming one just because I know how hard it is starting out and building a good portfolio and you need people to give you a chance.

I’m most excited about finally getting to walk down the aisle to FH, but there’s no picture for that yet! I’m second most excited to share with all of our friends and loved ones why we love going to Disney so much and chose to do a Disney wedding, including adding the fun elements like fireworks during our cocktail hour and rides during the welcome party. We have a lot of Disney first timers coming, so we’re just really looking forward to being able to spend this magical time with them!

Yes! Most people don't have many occasions for full-on photo shoots with their spouses. And I adore your dress!! I actually looked at this one too when I was dress shopping!

Oh my gosh, your wedding sounds like it's going to be SO MUCH FUN! Your guests are going to love the fireworks (not to mention the amazing photos you'll get). And you get to go on rides?! That's so awesome! Do you get free reign of the park during certain hours? Or are there certain rides that will be exclusive to your party?

Our wedding was 2 months ago and I'm very excited about seeing the photos! This was the Catholic wedding we couldn't have 38 years ago when we were first married. It took 8 months to plan this with my MOH/BFF who was at my side through the whole time and largely responsible for this happy event - long story. Her hubby took the photos and a video and we love them! Also exciting was having our son and his kids be part of the wedding. I finally have a photo of all my loved ones- hubby, son, grandkids and my dearest friend.

View Quoted Comment We hope so! Disney has a couple options when it comes to rides. If your event lines up with a park opening or closing, then you can pick a ride or two and Disney will escort your guests to be the first or last group on the ride for a surprisingly reasonable price. Or you can pay to keep a ride operational throughout your event for an insane amount lol. So we’re doing the first option.

Yes, that's always nice! My family is far-flung with many cousins out of state and many of whom have not seen my husband or son (also out of state) in many years, so we try to attend weddings, and even funerals and other family functions as often as we can.

It is for sure, but in my case, our "wedding" being a small, fairly private affair - the Catholic wedding we didn't get to have 38 years ago when we got married - the photos were taken by my MOH's husband who is a retired printer and amateur photographer. He sent them to us before we'd gotten back from our honeymoon, then made several copies of a sort of folder/album with the best of them as keepsakes for us, our family, and for them as well. The photos are fabulous - he did a great job, and he also made a video, which is on youtube, which was uploaded on the parish website. He does that every week for Mass and for special Masses too. We are extremely pleased with his work!

Thank you!! Yup, I'm nearly 72 (in December) and my MOH is 77! Thank you, I am very proud of my family and friends - they are truly wonderful, though not without their problems, big ones, but they are healthy and devout. My secrets - good genes for one. My Mom always looked much younger but she also taught me to take good care of myself and my skin as she did. I drink lots of water, don't smoke, I drink very moderately (special occasions, mostly), use moisturizer and sunscreen every day and try to stay positive.
