Are you and your bridesmaids all planning to wear coordinating outfits? Are you doing robes? Or flannel shirts? Or tank tops? Or letting everyone wear what they want? Share an inspiration picture of what you and your bridesmaids are planning to wear while getting ready the day of the wedding!

I'm getting married in fall, so I wanted to do flannel shirts. Inspo pic posted! But I'm not sure I want to get the "bridesmaid" etc. on the back, I was thinking more of maybe a monogram on the front instead so they can wear it again.

I looove this idea!! I've seen many flannel shirt options, and I think they'd be perfect! Especially for a fall wedding. I agree with you, I would probably leave out the "Bridesmaid" on the back. I like the idea of the monogram on the front! I wanted to do flannel shirts for my wedding, but since my wedding will be in the warmest part of summer, I'm bummed that long-sleeved shirts probably wouldn't be the best idea for me, lol. Are you planning to do a specific color for the shirts?

I got cotton robes with lace. I just got my bridesmaids initials on them so they could wear them more than just the day of. Mine has my initial and my married name on the back. I'm wearing my wedding color and favorite color purple. And I got my bridesmaids teal. What Are You Doing For Getting Ready Outfits? 2

I’m debating between robes and button-down PJ sets. I don’t want to get anything that they can’t wear again so nothing that mentions my wedding or their title or anything like that. Probably plain, MAYBE monogrammed if anything.

We wore whatever we were comfy in. We’re not going to hang photos of us getting ready on the walls, it wasn’t worth the expense of coordinating outfits.

I bought my bridesmaids matching silk pajama sets with their initials monogrammed on the front pocket. I didn't want to do robes because every robe I've gotten as a bridesmaid I've tossed afterwards and never wore it again. I know at least a couple of my bridesmaids still wear their pajama sets!

Absolutely nothing matching. Just regular clothes..sweatpants or leggings with a button up top.

I was thinking of doing the red! My wedding colors are burgundy and blush, so I thought the red would look really cute. Then black and white for me. My friend is a master with her Cricut and said she could make them for me, so it'll depend on what kind of flannels I can find!

Maybe for summer, you could do like a linen material button up or a lighter material? Won't be like a flannel, but a lot of those you can get short sleeved or roll them up at least and nobody will be too hot!

Very cool! Cotton robes are always a good choice. The purple and teal will look beautiful together too!

I would prefer to just wear an outfit that i'm comfortable in (personally that does not include a robe or pjs with short shorts). Flannel shirts are better, but i think it's very unlikely they will get worn again if you put initials on them. Just get cute flannel shirts - they don't need to be personalized or have anything "bridesmaid" on them!

I bought this pajama set (linked) from Target - it's sooo freaking soft and something I'll actually use after the wedding! I'm debating getting sets for my bridesmaids too. Like Caytlyn, it's not like I'll be displaying getting ready photos, so I'm waffling whether to get my girls sets too...

I totally agree with you about not putting anything related to the wedding on the outfits! The robes and button down PJ sets are both great ideas. I love the inspiration photo you shared, I think those would look beautiful in blue!

That makes sense! I don't think I'd ever hang getting ready photos on the walls, but I'd love to have the memories for my own scrapbook or photo albums, just as part of the documentation of the whole day. You bring up a good point about whether the expense is worth it or not!

I've also gotten a few robes from the weddings that I've participated in. While I definitely appreciated them, I haven't worn them since the wedding, since I don't typically wear robes anyway. Though, it's probably more of a "know your crowd" thing. The silk pajama sets sound like a good idea! That's awesome that some of them still wear them. Did you choose a different color set for each? Or all the same color?

That makes sense! Are you providing any of those for them? Or just telling them to show up wearing whatever they'd like?

I chose the same color for each! These weren't their actual gifts though because they were basically photo props, haha.

This is the inspo pick for mine! Pretty much the same except mine is white with baby pink stripes. (I got the sets from Target on sale!!) I know all my ladies and their personalities pretty well, and know they'll wear these long after the wedding is over! So to me, it's more of a gift to them rather than a photo prop.
