What Are You Doing For Getting Ready Outfits?

Are you and your bridesmaids all planning to wear coordinating outfits? Are you doing robes? Or flannel shirts? Or tank tops? Or letting everyone wear what they want? Share an inspiration picture of what you and your bridesmaids are planning to wear while getting ready the day of the wedding!

The red is always a classic, I think that'll look great! Very cool that your friend can help design them too. Also, super cute that you're doing a black and white flannel for you! There's always lots of shirt options on Etsy that you can get without personalization, but I feel like you may be able to find the shirts cheaper at like Target or a department store or somewhere.

I like the idea of a lighter material button up for summer! I was also considering Hawaiian shirts (since my fiance is known for wearing them lol, and we're also going to Hawaii for our honeymoon), but haven't found ones I like yet. I'll look around for the different fabrics - thanks for the ideas!

I agree with you on this, I was initially thinking about doing non-personalized robes for my bridesmaids, but I personally don't ever wear robes, and I feel like it'd be odd to walk around the bridal suite at my venue the morning of my wedding while wearing a robe. I love the flannel shirt idea, but since my wedding is in the warmest part of summer, I'm looking at lighter options haha. What are you doing/did you do for getting ready outfits for your wedding?

Awesome!! There are definitely good options to be found at Target, and the prices as usually decent as well. Great find! I agree that my getting ready photos also won't be hung on a wall or otherwise displayed around my house, but I think they'd be fun to have for scrapbooks or albums just for the memories and documentation of the whole day. Totally a personal choice as to whether to get matching outfits for everyone or not.

I got these tanks from Etsy! The neck is loose enough so it won't mess up your hair when changing. I'm getting married in June so I definitely didn't want long sleeve and we're getting ready at the venue so I didn't think robes or pajamas were appropriate. They were only $8 each so I won't be offended at all if they toss it after I get my pictures!

For mine, the girls just showed up in whatever. We didn't take any "getting ready" photos because that just seemed weird to me. There are a few photos of me getting my makeup done and them helping me button my dress, but that's about it. Most of them just had on gym shorts and a tank top (july wedding) or a button down of some kind.

I'm planning to get matching pajama sets for the bridal party because we will be taking getting-ready photos with our photographer

Robes seem to be a common choice! I've been in two weddings where we were given robes for the getting ready pictures. The pictures turned out beautiful! But I'm not really a robe person, so I haven't worn either one since then. What types of things did your bridesmaids wear while getting ready? I'm thinking of getting mine some kind of cute button up shirt and asking them to wear leggings or some kind of comfy pants, since knowing my bridesmaids, I think they'd be more comfortable in those instead of robes.

Haha, I consider mine the same way! I'm planning to get these for them for the photos, so I don't consider them part of their gifts, though I do hope they wear them even after the wedding.

I'm planning on getting some custom zip-up crop-top sweatshirts for our getting ready photos that we can all wear with some comfy leggings. It'll still be cold for our wedding so definitely want to make sure we all look cute but feel warm! In terms of personalization for the sweatshirts, I'm planning on doing something a little bit more subtle (like a little logo for our wedding) so that my bridesmaids can still wear the sweatshirts again in the future without it being an obvious wedding prop of sorts.

No worries, it looks like you've got plenty of time to decide! My wedding also isn't until 2022, so I've got nothing but time to figure it out lol.

Not providing them. They own all of those things so wear what they're comfy in.

Awesome!! Target definitely has good deals out there. That is very cool that your bridesmaids will likely still wear them after the wedding!

Absolutely nothing wrong with that! Everyone is usually happiest when they're wearing something comfy. Great picture!

These are cute!! And a fantastic price! My wedding is in July, so I'm definitely not looking for long sleeves either lol. We are also getting ready at our venue (which has a restaurant on site), so I don't think robes or pajamas would be a good idea for us either lol. I'll have to check these out on Etsy! What seller did you find these from?
