I like top shelf drinks mainly but if you have access to Everclear, you can pretty much mix a little of that with any type of juice and it goes a long way. You can even dilute it w/ water to make more. My FH is in the military so thats how we have access to it. Its only legal to the public in certain states.

I dont drink much but when I do, Corona, Moscato, margaritas, Moet, and Ciroc are some of my favorites. And I've just become a fan of Gin when its mixed with something fruity. Drinks to get ppl to where they want to be quickly are 1800, Patron, and Bellevedere. I'm a white liquor drinker. I dont like dark.

Maybe some vodka coolers. or premixed ceasars. some people like fruity drinks and saves on mixes.

I wouldn't go to far with the liquor. If your guests were like mine, they just drank what we had and no one complained (or at least that I heard)

I definitely think your on the right track.. You have a variety and between the list that you already have your guest will at least prefer two from the list

I think the liquors that you have should be enough, especially for 80 people with beer and wine as well.

The only suggestion, if any of your guests like Margaritas, would be tequilla. But I do not think that you need more that what you have on your current list.

Yeah I was thinking maybe adding tequila just because I love margaritas, the only worry I have with that is it would only be on the rocks not frozen. Thanks ladies!

We are doing our own bar as well. I think you are right on track. We have: Skyy and Gray Goose, Vermouth, Tangueray and Bombay Gins, Captain, Malibu, Bacardi Rums, Jack Daniels, Southern Comfort, Dewars, Baileys, Kahlua and Chambord. We are doing Moet & Chandon for champagne. Sangria for wine(With my crowd, noone drinks wine with dinner. This is making my FH, the sommelier, cringe.)and we are undecided as to what 1/2 keg of beer we are getting. FH drinks Glenfiddich 18 year, and no, we are not putting that on the bar. I love to be a good hostess, but if the guests are content to drink Dewars, than why give them Glen?

Good luck with your bar. I can't wait to figure out all of the cost, so I can get a per person figure on what we are spending. It is out of curiosity.

What are you doing for mixers

We specifically did not do Tequilla because we didn't want anyone doing shots.

@Carole as far as mixers so far we have oj, cranberry juice, tonic water, lemonade, and different pops. I don't know what else I am actually starting to panic a little right now because I am going over my list of things to do and it's a little longer then I would like. I just keep going back and forth, I am losing my mind hahaha.

Dang Carole B, sounds like you have quite the set up! Dewar's is dang awesome.

I think that if you really want a 5th get something that can be mixed... but I think your 4 are fine. My vote was going to be rum or whisky until I saw that you have already planned on those Smiley smile

Sounds like you got the liqour basics! I would get cranberry juice, orange juice, club soda, soda, diet soda for the mixers. How a bottle of white and red wine ... then maybe some budlites and corona for beers? I don't know any other popular beers, I'm not a beer girl lol ...

Breanne....Breathe! You have time. It sounds like you are right on track to me. I have the same mixers, but I am also having pineapple juice(bay breezes)and will have lemonade and sweet tea for the none drinkers or for people to add vodka to it. If you are interested in dispensers for your mixers, Christmas Tree Shop has 3 gal dispensers($14.99) and pitchers(6.99). Pics below.

    @Anna...lolol....I have a scotch/whiskey/bourbon crowd.

@Sharon....I think I need to buy another 1.75 liter of Jack. I have 2, but my crowd are big Jack drinkers. I am so afraid of running out of stuff.

What went the most at ours last night was:

    1. JIm Beam

    2. Stoli Vodka

    3. Rasberry Stoli Vodka

    4. Bacardi

    5. Jack Daniels

We also had people drink a lot more white wine than red

My daughter is a bartender so I just have to turn to her. She knows what my crowd drinks, but Carole I can't believe that you're only looking at 1/2 keg even with everything that you're having. I know my crew we'll need at LEAST 1 keg if not more - AND probably the more even with everything else and we're only having 50 people..... but then we're a bunch of drinkers!!!!!
