Has anyone here ordered online from weddingshoppeinc.com? If so, what was your experience? I found my dream dress on there for a fantastic (though not suspiciously unrealistic) price and with free shipping, but I'm wary of scams and I'm not sure how I feel about ordering my dress online when I can't try it on first, even though I still have enough time before my wedding to probably sell it and get something else if I don't like how it looks. I've looked for reviews but I can only find them for the store in Minnesota, not the actual website. Does anyone have any thoughts on ordering online in general, too? How has it worked for any of you?

Can you try on the dress somewhere else and then order online...?

I live in Minnesota and went in person to the Wedding Shoppe. While it was not a good experience for me (incredibly crowded, pushy salespeople, etc), I don't think there's any reason to believe it's not a reputable store. They certainly do a LOT of business here in the Twin Cities.

That's what I was hoping to do, but I won't be near a store that carries the dress until the middle of December, and I'm terrified that it will be gone by then. I've looked through literally thousands of dresses and this is the only one that really made my jaw drop and still fit into my budget. And thanks! That definitely helps.

That is where I bought my dress. Going to pick it up Saturday. I have friends that bought there and recommended it to me. Have no fear that they are a fly-by-night or fake website.

I'm also from MN and have been dress shopping there. I had a great experience, although I did not find a dress. Maybe think twice about ordering a dress you haven't tried on though? Look into their return policy

I agree with these ladies--it's a reputible site/store to buy from (I'm from MN as well! ), but I would be nervous about not trying on a dress that you only "love in a magazine." They look SOOO much different on. Maybe you can go to a bridal salon near where you live and bring a picture of the dress and at least try on similar ones, or similar styles to make sure it's still something you love when you see how you look in it! Did you ever get an answer? I'm interested in the prices here, but I'm nervous that they are knock-offs. I am looking for a Dessy dress and they are about $80 cheaper than anyone else. We've already tried on the dresses, so we know what style and size we want. What's the catch if I order it from Wedding Shoppe Inc online and never go to the store?
