wedding registry: are you checking it?!!

It doesn't let you see WHICH items are purchased it just tells how the amount of gifts purchased. I compulsively checked ours lol

I did it with my baby shower its kind of hard not lol but thats kind of different because you actually need all that stuff so if someone doesnt by it you have to. lol Im going to add stuff to mine when the season change and make sure things are still available but then again i still have 9 months.

I cheated and checked mine 2 weeks ago!! We have 3 items purchased!

I have been checking, just curious. But nothing purchased yet.

@heather: on bed,bath and beyond, you can go to purchased items and anything bought will come up so its killing me not to do that. haha.

@ lizzie g: I bet its so much harder with a baby shower because you like we're going to get this, RIGHT?!

I am trying so hard not to check especially when my sister is telling me who went already so I know who might have bought it. She makes keeping a secret very very hard!!

The shower is in a month and a half, (I know that date and where it is - my mom's house), so I feel like something should be a surprise but I know i won't be able to hold out.

I have been checking almost everyday, not even trying not to lol But sadly, nothing has been bought yet.

I check ours.. It tells us which items are purchased.. but hey, you don't know what you're opening so it's still a surprise!

OOOHHH goodness I did not need to know that lol. WILL POWER HEATHER!!!!

Hahaha sorry Heather, now we have the same problem!! I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one who wants to know. FH's sisters were like don't ruin it for yourself so then I felt bad. But its soooo hard not to.

I checked min a lot!!!! I'll probably check it all the way up to the wedding too... hehe... Someone on here said it was good so you can make sure that there are enough gifts in all the price points still available. I registered at BB&B, Target and C&B, and when ever I get on my registries it tells me what items were bought and how many??? I don't know how you ladies are only seeing the number of items? I just don't know who bought what... it's kinda fun to guess... would never have guessed my mom bought the sheets! haha!

My bridal shower is July 17th so I know as soon as the invites go out and we are closer I wil be checking it a lot. I am like that though, I always knew my Christmas gifts before I got them because I would snoop

Oh I do it all the time! I did it before my shower and do it now! I just want to make sure that there are different prices on there and enough stuff for people to choose from!

I asked people to check for me and let me know if it gets low or if there are no more inexpensive gifts to try to help me not check. Logic being, can't use that as an excuse to check. But no one really wants to check someone elses registry for them all the time and if my sister is the one doing it, she can't keep a secret to save her life. She'll buy you a christmas present in Nov and say 'want to know what it is now?!'

One of my showers is this weekend, and I totally broke down and checked yesterday! We registered at Herbergers and Target, and Herbergers does list thier names if they paid with a card or bought it online, however I make sure I dont go into that function, because I dont want to know who got things yet- it's so hard not to look!!!

I totally forgot about it. I just logged on and I got some AWESOME stuff fulfilled, but I have no idea by who! WOW~ So excited.

I can understand if you want to be suprised. I would check if you want to, but not because your sister thinks you should. I had a hard time figuring out what to register because my fiance and I live in a small townhouse and we have a lot of things already.
