Yes! I would recommend a wedding planner for you. These are the reasons:

1. Short timeline. They will help with this.

2. Destination. It will be great to have a local person while planning. I think it would be hard to plan a wedding from far away without a planner.

Some destiantion wedding packages have wedding planners so you might wanna check. For me, I'm doing a day of coordinator which was highly recommended from my friends. If you can afford someone for the whole wedding time frame then do it but for me it wasn't in our budget and some of it is DIY.

If you don’t know anything about the area, it's really hard to know who the best vendors are, what the weather is like and local laws, etc. A local wedding planner has those connections and expertise that can help your wedding go smoothly.
