Your best option is to find and read reviews on his from the various wedding websites.

But frankly, if he is a celebrity planner, would he really work with a normal person like you or me? And if he did, would he give your wedding the time and attention it deserves over the celebrity he is also working for?

Well I'm not so concerned about the fee, I'm willing to pay someone a goof amount to relieve the stress I'm avoiding lol. But yes, the amount of attention to my event is important.

I am a planner in Los Angeles and although I do not have a specific answer for you regarding who you should contact in DC, I think that it is important for you to know a few things when choosing a planner. Don't be starry eyed at the term "celebirty wedding planner". Sometimes it becomes the planner that wants to be the celebrity. The only celebrities at your wedding should be you and your groom.
