I won $5000 for a David's Bridal review I did here.

Welcome! Go to a local bridal show. They have approximately a million things to sign up for and enter. I've had friends who have won a few different things, although nothing as big as MNA-holy cow, jackpot!! Tip: be wary of vacation sweepstakes. Read the fine print-they may be time share things where you'll have to spend a few hours of your vacation in a sales presentation. Although that might be worth it for a free trip!

Join your local FB wedding page- I always see DJ/photographer giveaways and discounts on mine!

Yeah I went to a bridal show a couple weeks ago and entered to win a few things. I am going to another one this weekend so hopefully I win this time.

Thanks for the advise Bemyguest, I just joined a local Facebook group. I didn't think about that!

I got alot of discounts by booking vendors that I met at the bridal shows.

I don't have any site recommendations but PP are great, maybe go to some bridal expos, they do live raffles, I won a package of items valued at $200 (Which I'm totally grateful for) but my friend won a photography package ($2500) and there were a TON of honey moons, DJ packages, photo packages, engagement sessions, wedding dresses, florist gift cards, etc being raffled off. They wait till the very end, and you must be present to win, no guarantee but it's a fun day.

I went to a bridal show and got hundreds of dollars worth of savings from vendors, plus I got $800 credit towards a wedding band. Other than that some of my vendors had giveaways

Attend every bridal show you can think of, follow vendors on fb, weddingvibe.com (i have never won anything but they have contest)

I second the bridal show advice! I've only been to two so far and got $700 off my dream venue, free makeup session for my wedding day, free lipsense kits, and a free 4 hour photo booth rental for the reception! Since they're drawings, take FH, your mom or your bridal party for more entries. My mom actually won the makeup application and just let the MUA know I would be using it instead. Fh didn't win anything, but he loved the cake and food samples!

I'd also recommend checking out www.winyourgift.com to see a list of wedding-related sweepstakes and giveaways. There's vacations, jewelry, dresses and more listed for potential winning.

How far in advanced do you need to go to these bridal shows? Do the photographers work with your date. JW how that would work.
