Wedding Dress Back Fat

Krystal, on June 10, 2016 at 7:36 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 43

Hi everyone,

Just got my dress and I love it but all I see is back fat! Can you be honest and tell me if it looks bad? Should I look at sleeves? Thanks Smiley smile

You like a normal woman in all of her feminine, soft glory Smiley smile I don't see any extra back fat.

Honestly and truly.. You look fine!!! I'd love to see this beautiful dress from the front Smiley smile

That dress is beautiful. If you're concerned about seeing back fat (which I don't), you can try to loosen the corset back a little. See if that makes you feel more confident!

It looks slightly too tight to me, but I don't have a really great working knowledge of wedding dresses, so I don't understand how tight they're really supposed to be lol. I don't think it's anything to be concerned about - looks fine! If you're self conscious, perhaps a shawl or something? Is there such a thing as a bridal shawl? lol

Can we see the front? Smiley smile

ETA: even the skinniest person's skin will bulge when tightly squeezed - just something to remember!

There's no back fat. Believe me. I've seen my own photos.

Also, a longline bra will make it worse, so consider going braless. If you wear a longline bra and raise your arms through the course of the night, skin squeezes up over the top of the bra. It's just a thing, it happens to everyone, even the stick skinnies.

Thanks ladies Smiley smile it's a stunning dress and I think adding sleeves will take away from it but I feel like it's there. I think it should be a little looser and it's also done up slightly lopsided.

    You're corsetted up.

My back is pretty beefy in terms of muscles... and I look like I have fat pooring over my tank top and sports bra- and it's literally just b/c of the fact I'm snugged up securely in my sports bra.

You look beautiful and fine- and absolutely no one's going to notice that.

It's a beautiful gown Smiley smile congrats!

You look beautiful and you definitely don't need to add sleeves it's a gorgeous dress too. We always see the worst in ourselves and are usually our own worst critics but WW is always pretty honest. It's very pretty and no one will think you look fat in the back Smiley smile

You look great! I think that's gonna happen when you cinch it up tight. Mine's a zip up and I have that, it's skin, not fat. Have someone insert the tip of a finger starting at one armpit and run in along to the other side just to put the skin back where it belong lol.

It might help to put on a little baby power underneath to keep from rubbing. I am one of those stick figures and if I raise my arms while in a corset of course it catches when I put them down again. A bit of baby power helps it though so my skin isn't catching.

You look gorgeous in your dress! I don't see any back fat of any kind just seems a little tight. As the other ladies have mentioned try not wearing a bra ( if u are) as I have a strapless dress as well n I'm big chested so right by my side boob n arm I have a bulge but that's normal.

**sorry had to edit my post, forgot a few words...that's what I get for trying to comment with my phone**
