Hi everyone, Just got my dress and I love it but all I see is back fat! Can you be honest and tell me if it looks bad? Should I look at sleeves? Thanks

Such a beautiful lady in a beautiful dress. We are our own worst critics. What you are seeing is skin, and skin has a tendency to squish when squeezed. like others have said, just slightly loosen the corset and you will be golden Smiley smile

I think you look fine. I had back fat in mine but my veil covered it somewhat. And all I heard all night was how stunning I looked in my dress!

Ugh I am having this same problem! Can you loosen up the corsette a little? In all honesty it looks fine but you definitely don't want to feel self conscious on the big day.

You look beautiful! My stepdaughter is friends with a wedding photographer and he said even the swizzle stick thin brides have some form of "bulge" with a strapless depending on how they stand.

I think if you loosen the corset a little bit you will be able to relax and move more naturally and this will help you feel more comfortable.

PS-No one is going to notice anything other than how happy you are to marry the one you love!!!

It looks like you don't have back fat normally but the dress is giving you some slight back fat probably only because of the corset. If you loosen the corset you won't have back fat. It looks gorgeous though.

I was freaking out about the same thing at my fitting the other day. First, I didn't have my shapeware pulled up far enough in the back. Second, I was reminded that my veil would hid a bit of what I was unhappy with. Third, the alterations specialist told me that she would be more surprised if I didn't have anything there at all. Fourth, she also said that if it was going to make me uncomfortable and fidgety, she could add nice lace shoulder straps that looked almost sash like.

In the end, I love my dress the way it is. I will just have to get one of the girls to give me an extra little tuck back there.

Your dress is gorgeous. It looks gorgeous on you. Own that things and strut your rockin', in love bod in that.

Back fat? What back fat? It looks fine to me. If you're worried about it, don't tighten the corset so much on the top. I honestly think it looks just fine. Love the dress by the way.

I LOVE your dress!! You look PERFECT! Please don't fixate on this. Honestly.. You are not fat whatsoever, and everyone.. I mean EVERYONE will have a bit of something sticking out over a tight corset dress!!

You look great! If you're concerned/self conscious, could you tie it slightly looser or will it fall down?

I think the dress looks beautiful. I would never look at your back and think anything about back fat. Not even a little. Let's see the front! I bet it's gorgeous!!

All you have to have someone do is push their hands down on your spine, palms on your back, and move their hands toward your arms right hand going right and left hand going left, that will "smooth" that.

I don't think you need sleeves. I think it just needs to be loosened up a bit.
