Wedding date

That’s a month before fall begins so definitely not a fall wedding, but you can use whatever colors you want in any season. People tend to select seasonal colors, but that doesn’t mean it’s a requirement.

This is not considered a fall wedding but I think it’s close enough that you could use those colors. I honestly don’t think it matters the season as long as you like your colors.

I totally agree with Clarissa and Caytlyn! I think that you can use whatever colors you two like regardless of what season it is!

I completely agree. I am having a fall wedding and my colors are not considered fall colors but it's about what you like and what you envision.

August technically isn't fall. Do whatever you like with colors though! I would try to make those colors have an elegant feel rather play up the fall mums/pumpkins/etc. Even for a rustic theme in summer I think it would be pretty! The orange will brighten up the plum. You could always do a lighter purple too. Like they claim this is plum but I wouldn't consider it that plum is much darker.

No one will be concerned about you using a particular color scheme at a certain time of year..I think that’s more so something is Brides sometimes overthink on lol. Whatever colors you pick will look great

I am in the SAME BOAT as you, girl! I wanted more of a Fall wedding and have the same color scheme. Dark purple & orange! We were originally looking at September & October dates. After much consideration and finding a venue I am absolutely IN LOVE with, it makes more sense to move it up since it's winery.

Like all the wonderful, supportive women I've realized are on this wedding wire site I agree with them that the colors do not HAVE to be seasonal. I'm keeping the same and can't wait to see your pictures!

Orange and Plum will be absolutely beautiful. Don't over think the seasonal thing because you will drive yourself crazy.

We are doing and August wedding and we have chose Purple, Yellow, Gray and Black.. Not at all "August or Summer" colors.

My date is 9/21, the last Saturday of the Summer.

But, if you want Fall in August, then do it.
